AB - Tests were carried out on stationary field trial, soil type vertisol in the process of degradation. The land on which the view is derived is characterized by low pH (pH lt 5.0). The Dose of nitrogen was 120 kg N/ha, which was administered in combination with phosphorous and potassium fertilizer. The tests showed a significant grain yield. Nitrogen had a most significant impact on the yield of wheat. The average grain yield of all treatments in the 2008/09 growing season was significantly greater than in the following years, mostly as the result of highly favourable weather conditions at major stages of plant development. The average highest yield was achieved in the variant N120P100K60 (5.528 t/ha), although the high yield of more than 5 t/ha was obtained and the triple treatments NPK where nitrogen is applied in the maximum amount of 120 kg/ha, 60 kg/ha P2O5 and 60 kg/ha K2O as well as variants NP in a quantity of 100 kg/ha P2O5 and 60 kg/ha K2O. Also, the 1000-grain weight was highest in balanced fertilization with all nutrients NPK (40 g), in a quantity of 120 kg N/ha, 100 kg/ha P2O5 and 60 kg/ha K2O. Averaged across years, significantly higher values for test weight were found in the control (76.91 kg/hl). Variance analysis showed statistically significant differences for grain yield and test weight between the vegetation seasons. Significant differences for 1000 grain weight between the variants of fertilization.

AB - In this study, 11 winter wheat cultivars (KG-56S, Toplica, Perfekta, Takovčaka, Aleksandra,
Vizija, Planeta, Kruna, Harmonija, Rujna and Premija) were investigated. The research was
conducted in experimental field of the Centre for Small Grains Kragujevac (Serbia) during
two growing seasons (2012/13, 2013/14). Variability of bread-making quality properties
(sedimentation value and wet gluten content) was investigated. Quality components depended
significantly upon genotype and environment factors. For a two-year average, sedimentation
value varied from 23.33 ml (Premija) to 33.33 ml (Aleksandra, Planeta and Harmonija). The
analyses of variance showed highly significant differences in sedimentation values between
genotypes (F=244.273**), investigated years (F=717.176**), as well as their interaction
(F=50.767**). The highest wet gluten content on average was established at KG-56S cultivar
(39.63 %) and the lowest at Kruna (27.92 %). There were highly significant differences in the
wet gluten content among genotypes (F=81.622**), investigated years (F=816.569**), as well
as their interaction (F=25.974**). The analysis of phenotypic variance indicated that the
highest impact of variance for sedimentation value belonged to genotype, while the highest
impact of variance for wet gluten content belonged to year.

(73,59 kg/hl).
AB - Studies were conducted in a stationary field trial with fertilization, on the vertisol soil
type in process degradation. Examination carried out on soil which characterized low pH value
(pH<5.0). The six variants of mineral nutrition and control (without nutrition) were included in
experiment. The rate of nitrogen was 120 kg N/ha that were applied individually and by
combination with two level of phosphorus fertilizer.
Investigation where showed a considerable variation of grain yield in dependence from
mineral nutrition. The highest yield of 3.662 t/ha gave the application of the NPK in an amount of
120 kg N and 100 kg of P2O5 and 60 kg K2O. The use of N and P in the amount of 120 kg N and 60
kg P2O5 made the biggest impact on the 1000-grain weight (43.10 g), while the highest test
weight had a variant of P1 (73.59 kg/hl).

AB - Alternative way to chemical control of stored-product insects is use of diatomaceous earth (DE), which is effective as insecticidal dust. Preparation Protect-ItTM was used in this experiment for investigation of DE efficacy, worldwide registered for protection of stored products against pests. Detrimental species Rhizopertha dominica was examined on all small grain species - wheat, barley, rye, oat and triticale. Applied pesticide rare of I,0 g/kg was caused statistically significant higher percentage of mortality compared with rate of 0,5 g/kg. Mortality percentage of R.dominica is higher after longer exposure. In relation to type of grain exist statistically significant difference in adult mortality. Within rye and triticale statistically significant lower percentage of mortality was achieved.

AB - The investigation was carried out on the experimental field of Small Grains Research Center, Kragujevac. This paper presents the results of winter wheat varieties (Takovčanka, KG I00, KG 56S, Ana Morava and Lazarica). Grain yield, 1000 kernel weight and test weight in grain the investigated wheat cultivars was determined in a two-year field experiment. Average grain yield of wheat cultivars ranged from 3.0 II t/ha to 3. 774 t/ha. Grain yield differed significantly between years and the average of all cultivars was higher in 2006/07. By examining the physical properties of grain, Ana Morava was achieved the highest average yield in both growing seasons (3.049 t/ha; 4.499 t/ha). Average values of I000 grain weight of wheat varied in the range from 36.23 to 42.70 g.
