AB  - Visokoprinosna, rana sorta ozime pšenice PKB Vizantija dobijena je
metodom proste hibridizacije genetički različitih roditelja: sorte Chopin i sorte
PKB Arena. Kod ove sorte uspešno su kombinovani geni odgovorni za vrlo visok
potencijal rodnosti, solidan tehnološki kvalitet, otpornost prema poleganju, niskim
temperaturama i vaţnijim bolestima kod pšenice. Sorta PKB Vizantija
registrovana je od strane Ministarstva poljoprivrede, šumarstva i vodoprivrede
Republike Srbije 2018. godine. Poseduje vrlo visoku biološku plastičnost i
adaptaciju na različite klimatsko-zemljišne uslove i stabilnost prinosa, pri
optimalnim nivoima agrotehnike. Na osnovu pokazatelja tehnološkog kvaliteta,
svrstana je u II kvalitetnu klasu, B1 farinografsku kvalitetnu podgrupu i II
tehnološku grupu.
AB  - The high yielding, late winter wheat variety PKB Vizantija was
created using the method of hybridization of genetically divergent parents: the
variety Chopin and the variety PKB Arena. This variety successfully combines
genes responsible for high yield potential, good technological quality, and
resistance to lodging, low temperatures and more significant diseases of wheat. It
has been registered by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water
Management of the Republic of Serbia in 2018. It has broad adaptability, as well as
yield stability, which enables it to be grown under various climatic-soil conditions
with an optimum level of agrotechnics. Based on indicators of technological
quality, it was placed in Quality Class II, Farinography Quality Subgroup B1, and
Technology Group II.

AB  - U  radu  su  prikazani  rezultati  ispitivanja  prinosa  PKB  sorti  ozimog  tritikalea:  PKB  Vožd i  PKB  Kardinal  u  komparaciji  sa  standardnim  sortama:  Favorit  (Centar  za  strna  žita,  Kragujevac) i  Odisej  (Institut  za  ratarstvo  i  povrtarstvo,  Novi  Sad).  Istraživanja  su  izvedena  na  Oglednom polju  Instituta  PKB  Agroekonomik,  u  Padinskoj  Skeli,  u  proizvodnim  2013  i  2014  godini. Utvrđena  je  visoka  značajnost  po  faktorima:  godina  i  sorta.  Najveći  prinos  ostvarila  je  sorta  PKB Kardinal  (9.437,33  kg  ha-1),  a  najmanji  sorta  Favorit  (6.379,67  kg  ha-1),  u  obe  ispitivane  godine. Novostvorene  sorte  tritikalea  Instituta  PKB  Agroekonomik  imale  su  značajno  više  prinose,  od standardnih sorti u ogledima.
AB  - In this paper we presented the yield testing results of PKB winter triticale hybrids: PKB Vožd and PKB Kardinal, compared to standard cultivars: Favorit (Center for Small Grains, Kragujevac) and Odisej (Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, Novi Sad). Field experiments were held at Institute PKB Agroekonomik, Padinska Skela, during 2013 and 2014. Statistical significance was determined for factors year and cultivar. The highest yield had cultivar PKB Kardinal (9,437.33 kg ha-1), whereas cultivar Favorit achieved the lowest yield (6,379.67 kg ha-1), in both experimental years. According to our results, new triticale cultivars developed at Institute PKB Agroekonomik had significantly higher yield, compared to standard cultivars used.

AB  - Institut PKB Agroekonomik nastao je pre vise od pet decenija
kao potreba razvojnih i istraživačkih težnji PKB Korporacije. Jedna od osnovnih
aktivnosti u Institutu je stvaranje novih sorti strnih žita i to naročito pšenice.
Od 1979. godine kada je priznata prva sorta ozime pšenice (PKB Krupna) do
2013. godine Institutu je priznato 24 sorte ozime pšenice, jedna sorta ječma i
jedna sorta tritikalea, od strane državne komisije za priznavanje u Srbiji. Težeći
nastupima na inostranim tržištima Institutu su priznate i četiri sorte u
zemljama Evropske unije.
AB  - Institut PKB was created more than five decades ago as a need of
research and development aspirations of PKB Corporation. One of the main
activities of the Institute is to develop new varieties of cereals, especially wheat.
Since 1979., when the first winter wheat was admitted (PKB Krupna) until
2013., 24 varieties of winter wheat, one barley variety and one triticale variety,
were admitted by the State Commission. Striving to foreign markets, 4 varieties
of Institute were granted in the EU.

AB  - Pšenica je bila u prošlosti, jeste u sadašnjosti a sigurno će biti i u budućnosti bazna komponenta svakodnevne ishrane ljudi i životinja. Sada i kod nas, kao i u svetu, sve više se javlja tražnja za sortama koje pored visokog prinosa zrna, imaju i dobar kvalitet brašna. Sorte domaće selekcije Talas i Pobeda, stabilnog prinosa i dobrog kvaliteta, i u ogledima su potvrdile svoje osobine. Ove sorte imaju i visok sadržaj kvalitetnih proteina, a analogno ovome je i visok sadržaj glutena ali i kvalitet, što su potvrdila reološka merenja. Visoki prinosi ispitivanih sorata pšenice jesu rezultat interakcije genetičkog potencijala i primene dobre agrotehnike u uslovima kada raspored padavina u toku vegetacione sezone, od momenta setve do momenta žetve, nije pogodovao proizvodnji pšenice. Nakon obavljenih ispitivanja i ove godine sorte Talas i Pobeda svrstane su u A2 kvalitetnu grupu, odnosno to su sorte dobrog kvaliteta brašna i hleba i kao takve spadaju i u grupu poboljšivača. Sorte Merkur, Ratarica i Esperia svrstane su u B1 kvalitetnu grupu, tj. one su dobre hlebne sorte. Sorta NS 40 S i Balaton svrstane su u B2 kvalitetnu grupu. Sorta sa najlošijim kvalitetom i prinosom i ove godine je sorta Apač i svrstana je u C1 kvalitetnu grupu, što znači da mlinari i pekari moraju brašno ove sorte mešati sa brašnom sorata poboljšivača, da bi se dobio hleb zadovoljavajućeg kvaliteta.
AB  - Wheat was in the past, is at present and will surely be in the future, basic and vital element of the daily diet of humans and animals. The world market, and more and we do have expressed the desire and request of sorts, which in addition to high and stable yields with good quality parameters and flour. Cultivars with the most stable yield and good quality grain were varieties Talas and Pobeda. These varieties are high in quality protein and by analogy, this is a high gluten content and quality, as confirmed by rheological measurements. High yields of tested wheat varieties are the result of the interaction of genetic potential of the tested wheat varieties and application of good management systems in circumstances where the distribution of rainfall during the growing seasons, from the time of sowing and harvest was not favorable to the production of wheat. After testing cultivars, Talas and Pobeda are classified in A2 quality group, group of cultivars for quality flour and bread, and as such also belong to the group of improvers. Varieties Merkur, Ratarica and Esperia are classified as B1 group, group of cultivars good for bread. Cultivars NS 40 S and Balaton are classified as B2 quality group. The cultivar with the lowest quality is sorta Apach and classified in the C1 group of quality, which means that millers and bakers must mix flour with a variety of cultivars of flour improver, to obtain good quality bread.

AB  - Tritikale predstavlja biljnu hibridnu vrstu, novog botaničkog roda u porodici Poaceae, nastale sa težnjom da se spoje pozitivne osobine pšenice i raži. Napredak u selekciji i oplemenjivanju ozimog tritikalea zavisi od raspoložive genetičke varijabilnosti, načina ugradnje poželjnih gena u superiorne genotipove, kao i efikasnost selekcije (odabira) poželjnih genotipova, odnosno linija. Za skoro deset godina oplemenjivanja tritikalea u Institutu PKB Agroekonomik priznata je jedna sorta ozimog tritikalea (PKB Vožd) 2010. godine, a čije semenarstvo i komercijalna prodaja semena odmah i počela.
AB  - Triticale is a hybrid plant species, a new botanical genus in the family Poaceae, created with the aim to combine the positive properties of wheat and rye. Progress in breeding of winter triticale depends on the available genetic variability, method of installation of desired genes into superior genotypes, and the efficiency of selection (choice) of desirable genotypes or lines. For almost ten years of breeding triticale from the Institute recognized PKB is a cultivar of winter triticale (PKB Vožd) 2010. and whose seed production and commercial sale of seeds and immediately began.

AB  - The basic prerequisite for the achievement of high and stable wheat yield (as well as for PKB wheat cultivars) is the use of varietal and high-quality seed for sowing, along with the application of appropriate, i.e. optimal growing technique. The fact is that, even today, the great use of unquality and undeclarated seed is presented in wheat production; this could be stopped only by providing the sufficient amount of high-quality and inexpensive seed. The quality indicators of wheat seed (the purity, the fraction of small seeds, Kernel weight-the weight of 1000 seed, the moisture, the seed germination and the health condition) are presented on eight PKB winter wheat cultivars. The results indicate that the tested seed of PKB cultivars, realized under the management of PKB Enterprise, have satisfied all the standards issued by the Seed Law and the Book of Regulation. The average for all the years was as follows: purity-98,7 %; moisture-12,7%; Kernel weight-42,9 g; germination-91,4 %; the number of weed seed in 1000 g of wheat seed-2,8; the fraction percentage-1,9 % and Fusarium spp.-2,0 %.
AB  - Osnovni preduslov za postizanje visokih i stabilnih prinosa pšenice (pa tako i PKB sorti pšenice) je upotreba sortnog i kvalitetnog semena za setvu, uz primenu odgovarajuće tj. optimalne tehnologije gajenja. Činjenica je da i danas velika upotreba nekvalitetnog i nedeklarisanog semena u proizvodnji pšenice, a to se može zaustaviti jedino obezbeđenjem dovoljnih količina kvalitetnog i jeftinog semena. Pokazatelji kvaliteta semena pšenice (čistoća, frakcija sitnog semena, masa 1000 zrna, vlaga, klijavost i zdravstveno stanje) prikazano je na osam PKB sorata ozime pšenice. Rezultati pokazuju da je po svim parametrima ispitivano seme PKB sorti u organizaciji Poljoprivredne korporacije Beograd zadovoljavalo norme propisane Zakonom o semenu i Prailnikom. U proseku za sve godine čistoća je bila 98,7 %, vlaga 12,7 %, masa 1000 zrna 42,90 g, klijavost 91,40 %, broj zrna korova u 1000 g semena 2,8, procenat frakcije 1,9 % i Fusarium spp. 2,0 %.
