AB  - Sustainable farming is one of the priority goals of the “4 per 1000” concept with regard to the preservation of soil fertility and carbon sequestration. This paper presents a study on the use of a mixture of cover crops of self-grown oats (Avena sativa L.) and sown white mustard (Sinapis alba L.) in organic farming under the agroecological conditions of Serbia. The main objective was to identify sensitive carbon pools (microbial carbon and nitrogen, basal respiration and a number of specific groups of soil microorganisms) in organic farming with and without cover crops. The inclusion of a mixture of white mustard and self-grown oats as a cover crop led to a significantly increased biogenity of the soil compared to a control after only a few years of investigation. The number of microorganisms, soil respiration and microbial biomass carbon were significantly higher in the cover crop treatment compared to the control soil on an organic farm in Serbia. This is the first study in Serbia to investigate the effect of self-grown oats as a cover crop. Further research will incorporate a wider range of variables and factors in order to develop a sustainable and effective site-specific system for organic crop production in Serbia.

AB  - Wheat production in Libya is limited by water scarcity and high soil salinity, so the selection of tol-erant genotypes is an important step in achieving high yields. Water takes up the position of the main environmental factor that causes osmotic stress and affects growth, crop development and especially yields. The aim of these studies was to determine the most reliable parameter (germination parameters and length, fresh and dry weight of vegetative parame-ters) for the separation of the genotypes sensitive to water deficit and the selection of the most tolerant one. Based on the percentage of seed germination in drought conditions, genotypes were classified into three categories: poor (<80%) V5, V2, V7 and V3, medium (80-90%) V1, V4, V8 and V12, and good germination (>90%) V6, V9, V10 and V11. The most reliable parameters for the separation of the sensitivity were: germination percentage and index of germination, shoot and root length, fresh weight of root and shoot, and dray shoot weight. Based on the overall analysis, the most tolerant varieties for water deficit are V6 (Bhoth 306, Libyan) and V11 (NS Vlajna, Serbian), while the most sensitive are V9 (Marshosh, Libyan) and V10 (Zemunska rosa, Serbian).

AB  - Predloženo tehničko rešenje razvijano je na lokalitetu sertifikovanog organskog oglednog polja Instituta Tamiš, površine 2,5 ha na karbonatnom černozemu od 2016. do 2020. godine. Za proučavanje najpodesnijeg agrotehničkog modela za zasnivanje pokrovnog useva setvom bele slačice iskorišćena je agrotehnička situacija posle žetve ovsa (Avena sativa L.), kada je došlo do nicanja samorasta ovsa i u takvim uslovima posejana bela slačica. Početkom prve dekade avgusta u svim godinama istraživanja slačica je nikla, pa je time uspostavljen združeni pokrovni usev ovsa i bele slačice. Upravo u tome je inovativnost, jer u Srbiji ovakav pokrovni usev nije do sada zasnivan, a prednosti ovakvog rešenja su višestruke. Tehničko rešenje pripada oblasti biotehničkih nauka, naučna disciplina: ratarstvo i povrtarstvo, uža naučna disciplina: industrijsko bilje i strna žita, segment: organska proizvodnja, a odnosi se na novi tehnološki postupak zasnivanja pokrovnog useva setvom bele slačice (Sinapis alba L.) u organskoj ratarskoj proizvodnji.
AB  - This new technical solution deals with establishment of white mustard (Sinapis alba L.) cover crop in organic farming. The trial was carried out after oat (Avena sativa L.) harvest on a certified organic experimental field of Institute Tamiš in Serbia on the area of 2.5 ha on carbonate chernozem in the period 2016-2020. Such intercropping combination has not previously been reported in Serbia.

AB  - Ispitivanja su izvedena na stacionarnom poljskom ogledu sa đubrenjem, na
zemljištu tipa vertisol u procesu degradacije. Zemljište na kome je ogled izveden odlikuje se
niskom pH vrednošću (pH<5,0). Ogled je obuhvatao kontrolu i šest varijanti mineralne ishrane.
Doza upotrebljenog azota je bila 120 kg N/ha, koja je primenjivana pojedinačno i u kombinaciji sa
dva nivoa fosfornih đubriva.
Ispitivanja su pokazala znatno variranje prinosa zrna u zavisnosti od mineralne ishrane.
Najviši prinos zrna od 3,662 t/ha dobijen je sa primenom NPK u količini od 120 kg N/ha, 100 kg
P2O5/ha, 60 kg K2O/ha. Upotrebom N i P u količini od 120 kg N/ha, 60 kg P2O5/ha postignut je
najveći efekat na masu 1000 zrna (43,10 g), dok je najveću hektolitarsku masu imala varijanta P1
(73,59 kg/hl).
AB  - Studies were conducted in a stationary field trial with fertilization, on the vertisol soil
type in process degradation. Examination carried out on soil which characterized low pH value
(pH<5.0). The six variants of mineral nutrition and control (without nutrition) were included in
experiment. The rate of nitrogen was 120 kg N/ha that were applied individually and by
combination with two level of phosphorus fertilizer.
Investigation where showed a considerable variation of grain yield in dependence from
mineral nutrition. The highest yield of 3.662 t/ha gave the application of the NPK in an amount of
120 kg N and 100 kg of P2O5 and 60 kg K2O. The use of N and P in the amount of 120 kg N and 60
kg P2O5 made the biggest impact on the 1000-grain weight (43.10 g), while the highest test
weight had a variant of P1 (73.59 kg/hl).

Tolerantnost PKB hibrida kukuruza na sušu u 2012. godini

AB  - U radu je analiziran prinos zrna kukuruza komercijalnih hibrida stvorenih u Institutu PKB Agroekonomik. Ispitivani hibridi kukuruza pripadaju različitim grupama zrenja od FAO 200 do FAO 700. Hibridi kukuruza testirani su kroz mrežu makrodemonstracionih ogleda na osam lokaliteta. U uslovima izuzetno sušnog perioda praćenog visokim temperaturama vazduha, kakvi su bili uslovi tokom 2012. godine, hibridi kukuruza Instituta PKB Agroekonimik iskazali su visok stepen tolerantnosti na stresni faktor suše na nekoliko lokaliteta u uslovima proizvodnje bez navodnjavanja. Domaći hibridi stvoreni su klasičnim metodama selekcije u dugotrajnom višegodišnjem testiranju na stresne faktore. Rezultati ostvareni na pojedinim lokalitetima opravdavaju pravac selekcije u cilju očuvanja genetičkog biodiverziteta i njegovog korišćenja kroz stvorene hibride u uslovima izuzetno otežanim za proizvodnju kukuruza. Pravilan izbor hibrida za proizvodnju u određenom rejonu predstavlja 50% dobrog preduslova za ostvarivanje maksimalnih prinosa dok ostalih 50% pripada pravilno izvedenim i blagovremeno primenjenim agrotehničkim merama.
AB  - In this paper, the grain yield of maize commercial hybrids developed at the Institute PKB Agroekonomik. The tested hybrids from different maturity groups from FAO 200 to FAO 700th. Hybrids have been tested through a network makrodemonstracionih reflected in eight locations. In conditions of extremely dry periods followed by high air temperatures, what conditions were like in 2012. year, hybrids PKB Agroekonimik expressed a high degree of tolerance to drought stress factor at several sites in terms of production without irrigation. Domestic hybrids were created classical breeding methods in long-term multi-year test to stress factors. Results achieved in some localities justify route selection to preserve genetic biodiversity and its use in hybrids in extremely difficult conditions for maize production. Proper selection of hybrids for the production of a certain area represents 50% of good preconditions for achieving maximum yields, while the other 50% is done properly and timely cultural operations used.

abstract = "U radu je analiziran prinos zrna kukuruza komercijalnih hibrida stvorenih u Institutu PKB Agroekonomik. Ispitivani hibridi kukuruza pripadaju različitim grupama zrenja od FAO 200 do FAO 700. Hibridi kukuruza testirani su kroz mrežu makrodemonstracionih ogleda na osam lokaliteta. U uslovima izuzetno sušnog perioda praćenog visokim temperaturama vazduha, kakvi su bili uslovi tokom 2012. godine, hibridi kukuruza Instituta PKB Agroekonimik iskazali su visok stepen tolerantnosti na stresni faktor suše na nekoliko lokaliteta u uslovima proizvodnje bez navodnjavanja. Domaći hibridi stvoreni su klasičnim metodama selekcije u dugotrajnom višegodišnjem testiranju na stresne faktore. Rezultati ostvareni na pojedinim lokalitetima opravdavaju pravac selekcije u cilju očuvanja genetičkog biodiverziteta i njegovog korišćenja kroz stvorene hibride u uslovima izuzetno otežanim za proizvodnju kukuruza. Pravilan izbor hibrida za proizvodnju u određenom rejonu predstavlja 50% dobrog preduslova za ostvarivanje maksimalnih prinosa dok ostalih 50% pripada pravilno izvedenim i blagovremeno primenjenim agrotehničkim merama., In this paper, the grain yield of maize commercial hybrids developed at the Institute PKB Agroekonomik. The tested hybrids from different maturity groups from FAO 200 to FAO 700th. Hybrids have been tested through a network makrodemonstracionih reflected in eight locations. In conditions of extremely dry periods followed by high air temperatures, what conditions were like in 2012. year, hybrids PKB Agroekonimik expressed a high degree of tolerance to drought stress factor at several sites in terms of production without irrigation. Domestic hybrids were created classical breeding methods in long-term multi-year test to stress factors. AB  - Pšenica je bila u prošlosti, jeste u sadašnjosti a sigurno će biti i u budućnosti bazna komponenta svakodnevne ishrane ljudi i životinja. Sada i kod nas, kao i u svetu, sve više se javlja tražnja za sortama koje pored visokog prinosa zrna, imaju i dobar kvalitet brašna. Sorte domaće selekcije Talas i Pobeda, stabilnog prinosa i dobrog kvaliteta, i u ogledima su potvrdile svoje osobine. Ove sorte imaju i visok sadržaj kvalitetnih proteina, a analogno ovome je i visok sadržaj glutena ali i kvalitet, što su potvrdila reološka merenja. Visoki prinosi ispitivanih sorata pšenice jesu rezultat interakcije genetičkog potencijala i primene dobre agrotehnike u uslovima kada raspored padavina u toku vegetacione sezone, od momenta setve do momenta žetve, nije pogodovao proizvodnji pšenice. Nakon obavljenih ispitivanja i ove godine sorte Talas i Pobeda svrstane su u A2 kvalitetnu grupu, odnosno to su sorte dobrog kvaliteta brašna i hleba i kao takve spadaju i u grupu poboljšivača. Sorte Merkur, Ratarica i Esperia svrstane su u B1 kvalitetnu grupu, tj. one su dobre hlebne sorte. Sorta NS 40 S i Balaton svrstane su u B2 kvalitetnu grupu. Sorta sa najlošijim kvalitetom i prinosom i ove godine je sorta Apač i svrstana je u C1 kvalitetnu grupu, što znači da mlinari i pekari moraju brašno ove sorte mešati sa brašnom sorata poboljšivača, da bi se dobio hleb zadovoljavajućeg kvaliteta.

After testing cultivars, Talas and Pobeda are classified in A2 quality group, group of cultivars for quality flour and bread, and as such also belong to the group of improvers. Varieties Merkur, Ratarica and Esperia are classified as B1 group, group of cultivars good for bread. Cultivars NS 40 S and Balaton are classified as B2 quality group. The cultivar with the lowest quality is sorta Apach and classified in the C1 group of quality, which means that millers and bakers must mix flour with a variety of cultivars of flour improver, to obtain good quality bread.
