AB  - U ovom istraživanju je sprovedena karakterizacija perspektivnih
genotipova ozime pšenice na osnovu deskriptora morfoloških osobina
definisanih od strane Međunarodnog udruženja za zaštitu novih sorti
biljaka (UPOV). Karakterizacija KG-linija pšenice je izvršena za 7
kvalitativnih osobina. Poljski ogledi su izvedeni u dvogodišnjem periodu
(2013/2014. i 2014/2015.) na tri lokacije: Institut za krmno bilje u Kruševcu, Agroinstitut u Somboru, Centar za strna žita i razvoj sela u Kragujevcu. Ekspresija analiziranih svojstava ispitana je vizuelnim
opažanjem i ocenjena odgovarajućim brojem prema UPOV deskriptoru za
pšenicu. Većinu KG-genotipova odlikuje piramidalan klas bele boje sa prisutnim zupcima. Izuzetak čini genotip KG-162/7 koji ima paralelan
klas, kao i genotip KG-191/5-13 sa vretenastim oblikom klasa. Takođe, za
razliku od svih ostalih genotipova, genotip KG-60-3/3 karakteriše klas sa
prisutnim osjem. Svojstvo donja plevica – širina ramena se kretala u
rasponu od uskog, do veoma širokog, dok su svi genotipovi imali ravan
oblik ramena donje plevice. Analizirani genotipovi pšenice pripadaju
ozimom tipu.
AB  - In this research, the characterization of promising winter wheat
genotypes was carried out based on the descriptors of morphological traits defined by the International Association for the Protection of New Plant
Varieties (UPOV). Characterization of KG-lines of wheat was carried out for 7 qualitative traits. Experimental trial was carried out in a two-year period (2013/2014 and 2014/2015) at three locations: Institute for Forage Crops in Kruševac, Agroinstitut in Sombor and Centre for Small Grains
and Rural Development in Kragujevac. The expression of the analyzed
properties was examined by visual observation and evaluated with a corresponding number according to the UPOV descriptor for wheat. Most
KG-genotypes are characterized by a white pyramidal ear with scurs
present. The exception is the genotype KG-162/7, which has a parallel spike, as well as the genotype KG-191/5-13, which has a spindle-shaped
spike. Also, unlike all other genotypes, genotype KG-60-3/3 is
characterized by a spike with a present awns. Lower glume characteristic
– shoulder width ranged from narrow to very wide, while all genotypes had
a flat lower glume shoulder shape. The analyzed wheat genotypes belong
to the winter type.

AB  - U radu je analizirana stabilnost osobine visina biljke 20 divergentnih
genotipova plavog patlidžana koji su deo kolekcije Instituta za povrtarstvo
Smederevska Palanka. Poljski mikroogledi su izvedeni na tri lokaliteta (Smederevska Palanka, Kusadak i Vranovo). Analiza varijanse AMMI
modela pokazala je da postoje značajne razlike između genotipova,
lokaliteta, kao i njihovih interakcija (G×E) za visinu biljke. Od ukupne
sume kvadrata, 91,6% variranja odnosio se na efekat genotipa dok se svega
4,11% variranja može pripisati efektu lokaliteta. Rezultati dobijeni u ovom istraživanju ukazuju da je 5 proučavanih genotipova pokazalo stabilnost
ove osobine na različitim lokalitetima. Na osnovu ASV vrednosti za visinu
biljke, zaključuje se da je najveća stabilnost utvrđena na lokalitetu Vranovo koji je po rangu na prvom mestu i sa koeficijentom AMMI stabilnosti 2,16.
AB  - In the experiment the stability of the trait plant height, for 20 divergent
eggplant genotypes from the GenBank of Institute for Vegetable crops Smederevska Palanka was analyzed. Field microtrials were carried out at three locations (Smederevska Palanka, Kusadak and Vranovo). The
analysis of variance of the AMMI model showed significant differences between genotypes, localities and their interactions (G×E) for plant height.
From the total sum of squares, 91.6% of the variation was related to the
genotype effect, while only 4.11% of the variation can be attributed to the
locality effect. The results obtained in this research indicate that 5 studied
genotypes showed the stability of this trait in different localities. Based on
the ASV value for plant height, it is concluded that the highest stability was
determined at the Vranovo location with an AMMI stability coefficient of
2.16.

AB  - U ovom preglednom radu prvo su opisane klasične metode mutageneze
i mehanizam nastanka mutacija, a zatim su nabrojane molekularne tehnike
u mutacionom oplemenjivanju: 1. inserciona mutagneza, 2. transformacije, 3. editovanje i 4. TILLING. Najveća pažnja posvećena je TILLING tehnici kroz prikaz svake od njehih etapa. Molekularne tehnike omogućuju unos
gena za poželjne osobine u genom i unapređuju klasičnu selekciju u
mutacionim populacijama kroz analizu ciljanih mesta na genomu. Ove
prednosti molekularnih tehnika reafirmišu mutaciono oplemenjivanje
povrća i drugih grupa biljaka.
AB  - In this review paper, the classical methods of mutagenesis and the mechanism of mutations are first described, and then the molecular
techniques in mutation breeding are listed: 1. insertional mutagenesis, 2.
transformations, 3. editing and 4. TILLING. The greatest attention is paid
to the TILLING technique through the presentation of each of its stages. Molecular techniques enable the introduction of genes for desirable traits
into the genome and improve classical selection in mutational populations
through the analysis of targeted sites on the genome. These advantages of molecular techniques reaffirm the mutational breeding of vegetables and other plant groups.

AB  - Proučavanja štetnih vrsta insekata na paradajzu (Solanum
lycopersicum L.), na oglednim i proizvodnim parcelama Instituta za
povrtarstvo u Smederevskoj Palanci, obavljena su korišćenjem
standardnih entomoloških metoda i pribora. Na paradajzu, na
posmatranim površinama, u zaštićenom prostoru i na otvorenom polju,
registrovane su četiri vrste insekata: duvanova sovica (Helicoverpa
armigera Hübner), moljac paradajza (Tuta absoluta Meyrick),
kalifornijski cvetni trips (Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande)) i zelena
povrtna stenica (Nezara viridula (L.)). Veća oštećenja izazvale su H.
armigera i T. absoluta, čije su larve nanele štetu hraneći se i na
vegetativnim i na generativnim organima paradajza, dok su F.
occidentalis i N. viridula bile manje zastupljene ne nanoseći veća
oštećenja.

Hemijskom analizom određena je suva materija, ukupniminerali, ukupni šećeri i sadržaj vode. Ispitivane osobine odabranihgenotipova poređene su sa standardnom sortom Podravski srednje dugi.

The paper presents the results of three-year research(2011–2014) of four parsnip genotypes selected at the Institute for vegetable crops Smederevska Palanka. The following morphologicalcharacteristics were analyzed: average root mass, average length,diameter of the neck and diameter of the middle of the root. Dry matter,total minerals, total sugar and water content were determined by chemicalanalysis. The tested properties of the selected genotypes were comparedwith the standard Podravski medium-long variety.

AB  - The present study was carried out to investigate the phenotypic variability and genotype ×
environment interaction (G×E) for spike weight of different wheat genotypes. The

weight with 20.84%, where the first two principal interaction components (PCA1 and PCA2)
explained 91.74% of the interaction. The genotypes Harmonija, KG-58, Orašanka,
Renesansa, Morava, Perfekta and Bankut 1205 were characterized by high values of spike
weight and high stability. Genotypes Bankut 1205, Banatka, Grbljanka and Morava were in
positive interaction with the vector of environment Rimski Šančevi 2015/2016 (favorable
conditions), while the genotypes Harmonija, Gružanka, Oplenka, Šumadija and Premija
reacted well to salinity stress conditions of environment Kumane.

AB  - The creation of salt-tolerant wheat genotypes can provide a basis for sustainable wheat production in areas that are particularly sensitive to the impacts of climate change on soil salinity. This study aimed to select salt-tolerant wheat genotypes that could serve as a genetic resource in breeding for salinity tolerance. A two-year experiment was established with 27 wheat genotypes, grown in salinity stress and non-stress conditions. Agronomic parameters (plant height, spike weight, number of grains per spike, thousand grain weight, and grain yield/plant) were analyzed in the phenophase of full maturity, while biochemical parameters (DPPH radical scavenging activity and total phenolic content) were tested in four phenophases. Grain yield/plant was the most sensitive parameter to salinity, with a 31.5% reduction in value. Selection based on salt tolerance indices (STI, MP, and GMP) favored the selection of the genotypes Renesansa, Harmonija, Orašanka, Bankut 1205, KG-58, and Jugoslavija. Based on YI (1.30) and stability analysis, the genotype Harmonija stands out as the most desirable genotype for cultivation in saline conditions. The presence of positive correlations between grain yield/plant and biochemical parameters, in all phenophases, enables the selection of genotypes with high antioxidant activity and high yield potential, even in the early stages of plant development.

Changes in the quality of the seeds of autochthonous varieties of pepper seeds: Palanačko Čudo, Župska Rana, and Kobra were monitored in three years (2019–2021). It was noticed that the slightest difference in germination was obtained with the cultivar Palnačko Čudo (p&gt;0.05) in three years. The parish wound had the best germination in 2019 (95%) compared to Palnačko Čudo and Kobra (p&lt;0.05). The germination energy of Župska Rana is significantly higher compared to other selected varieties, 89% (p&lt;0.05). There was a significant decrease in total germination in 2020 compared to 2019 (p&lt;0.05) and amounted to 83%; accordingly, the germination energy decreased. No phytopathogenic fungi were detected in the Župska Rana sample. Total germination and energy decreased significantly compared to the previous two years (p&lt;0.05). During the analysis of quality parameters in 2021, the slightest change in quality was observed in the variety Palanačko Čudo, including germination energy and moisture. A significant decrease in the germination of Župska Rana was noticed during the period 2019–2021. The lowest percentage of phytopathogenic fungi in the three years was detected in Župska Rana.

AB  - Krastavac (Cucumis sativus L.) je među najstarijim gajenim
povrtarskim vrstama u zemljama širom sveta. Cilj ovog rada je praćenje
parametra kvaliteta semena u trogodišnjem periodu, ali i uticaja prisustva
fitopatogenih gljiva na ukupnu klijavost. Odabrane su tri sorte krastavca:
Dugi zeleni, Pariski kornišon i Sprinter čiji kvalitet je analiziran u toku
skladištenja, u periodu 2018-2020. godine. Najbolji kvalitet semena
utvrđen je kod sorte Sprinter gde je klijavost >95%, kod kojeg je izostalo
prisustvo fitopatogene gljive Fusarium spp. Najveći procenat Fusarium
spp. detektovan je kod Dugog zelenog, gde je ukupna klijavost bila
smanjena, s obzirom da negativno utiče na ovaj parametar kvaliteta.
Buduća istraživanja će biti fokusirana na primenu biopreparata, kao
potencijalne zaštite semena u toku skladištenja.
AB  - Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) is among the oldest cultivated
vegetable species in countries around the world. The aim of this work is
to monitor quality parameters over a three-year period, as well as the
effects of phytopathogenic fungi on overall germination. Three varieties of cucumber were chosen for the study: Dugi zeleni, Pariski kornišon and
Sprinter, whose quality was analyzed during storage, in the period 2018-2020. The best quality was obtained with the Sprinter variety rate of
germination > 95%, where the presence of the phytopathogenic fungus Fusarium spp. was absent, since it negatively affects this quality

AB  - In the two-year field experiment (2013/2014 and 2014/2015), the variability of yield and
hectoliter grain mass of 14 winter wheat genotypes was examined. The research was
conducted in three locations across the Republic of Serbia: Centre for Small Grains in
Kragujevac, Institute for forage crops in Kruševac and Agroinstitute in Sombor. Significant
differences in grain yield were found between varieties, locations, years and their
interactions, while the influence of the location did not show significant differences in
hectoliter mass. Grain yield of studied wheat genotypes in 2013/2014 varied from 3.91 t ha-1
(KG-244/4) to 5.55 t ha-1 (KG-60-3/3), and in 2014/2015 from 5.67 t ha-1 (KG-162/7) to 7.08
t ha-1 (KG-27/6). The hectoliter mass also varied, and most often ranged from 72.1 kg hl-1
(KG-28/6) to 77.2 kg hl-1 (KG-191/5-13) in the first experimental year and from 76.7 kg hl-1
(KG-27/6) to 81.9 kg hl-1 (KG-191/5-13) in the second year. Unfavorable weather conditions
which prevailed in the first experimental year, conditioned the formation of smaller and
shriveled grains. As a result, the examined KG-wheat genotypes gave lower values in grain
yield and hectoliter mass in 2013/2014 compared to 2014/2015. In this study, higher values
of heritability in a broad sense were obtained for hectoliter mass (73.66%), and lower values
for grain yield (25.82%). This indicates that direct breeding for grain yield is less efficient
and it is necessary to have knowledge about the nature of the inheritance of important yield
components in order to improve this complex trait.

агротехнике може остварити приносе и преко 60т/ха. Посебан акценат треба ставити на висок
садржај суве материје и боје, тако да је веома погодна за справљање ајвара као и у индустријској
преради за прављење различитих производа од паприке.

plodova u tehnološkoj zrelosti je tamnozelena, a u biološkoj tamno crvena. Plodovi su krupni,
čija se prosečna težina kreće oko 230g. Visoko prinosna je paprika, gde uz upotrebu pune
agrotehnike može ostvariti prinose i preko 60t/ha. Poseban akcenat treba staviti na visok
sadržaj suve materije i boje, tako da je veoma pogodna za spravljanje ajvara kao i u industrijskoj

AB  - This paper presents research of production possibilities of miscanthus (Mischantus × giganteus Greef et Deu) in agroecological conditions of Serbia. For that purpose, an experiment was set up in Srem on the site of Podunavlje village of Surduk. The soil on which the plantation was established in 2012 belongs to the type of carbonate chernozem on a loess plateau, at an altitude of 150 m. Stalk height in the panicle stage and yield of dry miscanthus stalks during five years, from 2015 to 2019, as well as the content of cellulose in dry stalks depending on agroecological conditions and variants of fertilization without top dressing and with spring top dressing of 30 kg ha1 of nitrogen fertilizer, were analysed. The highest recorded yield of dry stalks was in 2019 (34.525 kg ha1), and the lowest recorded yield was in the dry year of 2017 (17.980 kg ha1), both in the variant with top-dressing.

AB  - This paper examines the effect of foliar nitrogen nutrition on seven durum wheat genotypes produced according to the principles of organic production. The experiments were performed during two growing seasons on organic farm in Čačak, Serbia. Three different N fertilization strategies have been compared: T1- control without N application after the stem elongation stage; T2- foliar N fertilization at the beginning of heading, one spray with 0.3% organic fertilizer Trainer (5% N and 31% amino acids); T3- foliar N fertilization in both stages, heading and anthesis with 0.3% organic fertilizer Trainer (5% N) each. Analysis of grain yield and yield components (number of spikes m-2, number of grains per spike and thousand grain weight (TGW) was performed. The number of spikes per square meter, number of grains spike-1, TGW, and grain yield significantly increased (P ≤ 0.01) with different levels of fertilizers. Foliar fertilization had a significant effect on yield in both growing seasons. Grain yield, on average for all genotypes and years after spraying were 22% (one N treatment), and 54% (two N treatments) higher than in the control. Grain yield was about 26% higher in two N treatments than in one N treatment. Grain yield was positively correlated with other traits (TGW, number of spikes m-2 and number of grains/spike).

phenotypic correlations, and Path analysis, with the aim of creating a selection criterion for increasing wheat grain yield. A twoyear experimental study was conducted with twenty-seven wheat genotypes, grown on two localities: Rimski Šančevi (Bačka,
Vojvodina), on Chernozem soil type; and Kumane (Banat, Vojvodina), on Solonjec soil type. The highest values of phenotypic
coefficient of variation (CVp) had the grain weight per plant (17.44% on Chernozem and 13.81% on Solonetz), while the lowest
value of CVp had the thousand grain weight (8.12% on Chernozem and 5.47% on Solonetz). On Chernozem, the value of the
genotypic coefficient of variation (CVg) ranged from 1.51%, in the number of grains per spike, to 9.17% in the spike length, while
on Solonetz, grain weight per plant had the lowest value of CVg (0.36%) and plant height the highest one (11.15%). At both
localities, grain yield was in highly significant and positive correlations with all analyzed traits, except with plant height and spike
length. In favorable environmental conditions (Chernozem), Path analysis revealed that grain yield directly depends on grain
weight per spike (0.317**), number of grains per spike (0.232**) and spike weight (0.209**), and other analyzed traits have a
positive indirect effect on grain yield over mentioned traits. Under salinity stress conditions, the grain weight per plant had the
highest direct effect on grain yield (0.891**), which makes this trait a good selection criterion in breeding for salinity stress
tolerance.
AB  - У овом истраживању су примењене различите статистичке методе: анализа генетичких параметара, Пирсонове
корелације, генотипске и фенотипске корелације и Path анализа, са циљем да се креира селекциони критеријум за
повећање приноса зрна пшенице. Споведено је двогодишње експериментално истраживање са двадесет седам
генотипова пшенице, гајених на два локалитета: Римски Шанчеви (Бачка, Војводина), на земљишту типа чернозем; и
Кумане (Банат, Војводина), на земљишту типа солоњец. Највеће вредности фенотипског коефицијента варијације (CVp)
има маса зрна по биљци (17,44% на чернозему и 13,81% на солоњецу), док је најмања вредност CVp установљена код масе
1000 зрна (8,12% на чернозему и 5,47% на солоњецу). Вредност генотипског коефицијента варијације (CVg) се, на
чернозему, кретала од 1,51%, код броја зрна по класу, до 9,17%, код дужине класа, док је на солоњецу маса зрна по биљци
имала најмању вредност CVg (0,36%), а висина биљке највећу (11,15%). На оба локалитета принос зрна је у
високозначајним и позитивним генотипским и фенотипским корелацијама са свим особинама, осим са висином биљке и
дужином класа. У повољним условима средине (чернозем), Path анализа показује да принос зрна директно зависи од
масе зрна по класу (0,317**), броја зрна по класу (0,232**) и масе класа (0,209**), док остале особине имају позитиван
индиректни ефекат на принос преко наведених особина. У условима стреса заслањености, највећи директни ефекат на
принос зрна има маса зрна по биљци (0,891**), што чини ову особину добрим селекционим критеријумом за повећање
приноса зрна у условима стреса.

повећање приноса зрна пшенице. Споведено је двогодишње експериментално истраживање са двадесет седам
генотипова пшенице, гајених на два локалитета: Римски Шанчеви (Бачка, Војводина), на земљишту типа чернозем; и
Кумане (Банат, Војводина), на земљишту типа солоњец. Највеће вредности фенотипског коефицијента варијације (CVp)
има маса зрна по биљци (17,44% на чернозему и 13,81% на солоњецу), док је најмања вредност CVp установљена код масе
1000 зрна (8,12% на чернозему и 5,47% на солоњецу). Вредност генотипског коефицијента варијације (CVg) се, на
чернозему, кретала од 1,51%, код броја зрна по класу, до 9,17%, код дужине класа, док је на солоњецу маса зрна по биљци
имала најмању вредност CVg (0,36%), а висина биљке највећу (11,15%). На оба локалитета принос зрна је у
високозначајним и позитивним генотипским и фенотипским корелацијама са свим особинама, осим са висином биљке и
дужином класа. У повољним условима средине (чернозем), Path анализа показује да принос зрна директно зависи од
масе зрна по класу (0,317**), броја зрна по класу (0,232**) и масе класа (0,209**), док остале особине имају позитиван
индиректни ефекат на принос преко наведених особина. У условима стреса заслањености, највећи директни ефекат на
принос зрна има маса зрна по биљци (0,891**), што чини ову особину добрим селекционим критеријумом за повећање
приноса зрна у условима стреса.",

AB  - U formi preglednog rada razmatrana je primena celerovog soka u dve
različite oblasti: jedna se odnosi na očuvanje zdravlje, a druga na
detekciju mutacija. Prikazan je sastav celerovog soka i ukazano na ulogu
pojedinačnih komponenti u zaštiti i popravci zdravlja. Takođe je opisan
efekat enzima CEL I iz ekstrakta celerovog soka u istraživanjima iz
mutacione genetike. Hipotetisano je da CEL I ima potencijalni
zdravstveni doprinos, mada za sada nema takvih naučnih rezultata.
AB  - In the form of a review paper, the application of celery juice in two
different areas was discussed: one related to preserving health, and the
other to detection of mutations. The composition of celery juice is shown
and the role of individual components in protecting and improving health
is indicated. Also, the effect of the enzyme CEL I from celery juice
extract in research on mutational genetics is described. It has been
hypothesized that CEL I have a potential health contribution, although
there are no such scientific results so far.

AB  - Cereal grains have represented the principal component of the human diet for thousands of years. Modern cereal production can not be imagined without the use of mineral fertilizers, particularly in terms of better utilization of biological potential of the yield of growing plants. The aim of this study was to evaluate the energetic efficiency of wheat and barley production, with special reference to the share of the use of mineral fertilizers in total energy consumption. Input data and yield of wheat and barley fields were collected in the experimental trials in Serbia. Results showed that total energy inputs of wheat and barley fields were 22178.04and15921.16 MJ·ha-1, respectively. Total energy outputs for wheat and barley fields were 80037.83 and 104496.08 MJ·ha-1,respectively. The results obtained indicate that mineral fertilizers claim a share of the total energy consumption in cereal production ranging from 49.19% in barley to 52.01% in wheat. Specific energy input, energy output–input ratio (energy use efficiency), energy productivity and net energy gain were 5.13 MJ·kg-1, 3.61,0.19 kg·MJ-1and57859.79MJ·ha-1in wheat system and 2.75 MJ·kg-1, 6.56, 0.36 kg·MJ-1and88574.92 MJ·ha-1in barley system, respectively. According to the results, it seems that barley production is more efficient from different aspects of energy consumption compared to wheat in the studied region. In general, production in barley fields was more sustainable than wheat production because, in view of ecological indices such as amount of energy use and renewable energy consumption, it was more environment-friendly production.

AB  - The aim of this study is to investigate phenotypic variability of yield components for seven
different durum wheat genotypes (Windur, Žitka, KG Olimpik, KG-28-6, KG-3405-03, KG-43-
33-1, and KG-44-3-1), which were grown during two years (2012/2013 and 2013/2014) at
certified organic trial located in Mršinci, the Municipality of Čačak, Serbia. The field experiment
was conducted in a randomized block design with three replications with plot of 5 m² on the soil
belonging to the loamy clay type. Experiment was carried out by the organic technology of
farming production of durum wheat.
For analysis of plant height and spike characteristics, 60 plants in full maturity stage were used
(20 plants per replication). The primary tiller of plant was used for analyzed plant height, spike
length and number of spikelets per spike.
Plant height, on average, ranged from 76.0 cm (Olimpik) to 92.1 cm (KG-3405-03), spike length
from 6.9 cm (KG-44-3/1) to 8.2 cm (Windur) and number of spikelets per spike from 19.3
(Žitka) to 22.5 (Windur). Variability for plant height was similar for both of years (CV=3.6%,
3.9%, respectively), but for spike length (CV=5.5%, 6.6%, respectively) and for number of
spikelets per spike (CV=5.4%, 6.2%, respectively) was lower in the first than in the second year.
Through variance analysis, a highly significant difference in mean values for all investigated
components was established. Phenotypic analysis of variance indicated that ecological factors
had higher impact in relations to genetic factors on expression of all three investigated traits.

U 2020. godini, koja je bila povoljnija za proizvodnju, ostvaren je prosječan prinos za sve sorte od 9010 kg ha-1 , dok je u 2019. godini ostvaren prinos od 7811 kg ha-1 . Sadržaj proteina u zrnu ovisio je o ispitivanim sortama i godinama. U prosjeku, sadržaj proteina se kretao od 12,02 % (Odisej) do 14,40 % (Favorit). Gledajući godine, prosječan sadržaj proteina u zrnu bio je veći u sušnoj vegetacijskoj sezoni 2018./2019. za oko 27 % nego u kišnoj 2019./2020.
AB  - The paper presents the results of testing of yield of four winter triticale cultivars, represented in general production in Serbia: PKB Kardinal (PKB Agroekonomik Institute), Trijumf and Favorit (Small Grain Center, Kragujevac) and Odisej (Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops), Novi Sad). Investigations were performed at the Experimental Field of PKB Agroekonomik Institute, in Padinska Skela, in production years 2019. and 2020. A statistically significant difference in yield by years and cultivars was found. The highest yield was achieved by the cultivar PKB Kardinal (9437 kg ha-1 ), and the lowest by the cultivar Favorit (6877 kg ha-1 ), in both examined years. In 2020., which was more favorable for production, the average yield of 9010 kg ha-1 was achieved for all cultivars while in 2019. the yield was 7811 kg ha-1 . The protein content in the grain depended on investigated cultivars and years. On average, the protein content ranged from 12.02 % (Odisej) to 14.40 % (Favorit). Looking at the years, the average protein content in the grain was higher by about 27 % in the dry vegetation season 2018./2019. than in the rainy 2019./2020.

The highest yield was achieved by the cultivar PKB Kardinal (9437 kg ha-1 ), and the lowest by the cultivar Favorit (6877 kg ha-1 ), in both examined years. In 2020., which was more favorable for production, the average yield of 9010 kg ha-1 was achieved for all cultivars while in 2019. the yield was 7811 kg ha-1 . The protein content in the grain depended on investigated cultivars and years. On average, the protein content ranged from 12.02 % (Odisej) to 14.40 % (Favorit). Looking at the years, the average protein content in the grain was higher by about 27 % in the dry vegetation season 2018./2019. than in the rainy 2019./2020.",
