AB  - Two-year research was carried out in 2014 and 2015 on the territory of the municipality of Leskovac, on alluvium land type. In the experiment, 6 maize hybrids of different vegetation lengths 400-600 were sown (ZP 434, NS 4023, ZP 555, NS 5051, ZP 666, NS 6030). The hybrid NS 6030 (10.248 t ha-1) had the highest average yield in 2014, while the hybrid FAO group 400 NS 4023 (9.467 t ha-1) had the lowest. The highest average yield in the year 2015, unfavorable for corn production, was achieved by the hybrid FAO group 400 ZP 434 (6.938 t ha-1) and the smallest yield by hybrid FAO group 600 NS 6030 (4.980 t ha-1). In 2015, being that the average temperatures were warmer than in 2014, and it had fewer amounts and worse distribution of precipitation, late sowing had a very bad effect on all hybrids, especially on FAO 600 hybrids.

Impact of agro-ecological conditions and fertilization on yield and quality of triticale on pseudogley soil

AB  - The results of the study of the influence of fertilization and calcification on the yield and yield components of winter triticale grown on low pH soil are presented in this paper. Five variants of fertilization were tested during three growing seasons. Trial treatments included different fertilization variants: V1-control, V2-N120, V3-N120P80K60, V4-N120P80K60 + 5 t ha- 1 of lime and V5-N120P80K60 + 5 t ha-1 of lime + 30 t ha-1 of manure. The results of the research showed that all yield components responded positively to the application of mineral nutrition by changing the production characteristics and grain quality. The variant with the combined application of NPK, lime and manure had the greatest positive effect on all tested parameters affecting triticale productivity. During the study, the highest yield of triticale 5.826 t ha-1 was obtained on the fertilization variant with the combined application of lime, manure and NPK fertilizers. The achieved increase in the grain yield of triticale was significant compared to the control and the NPK variant of fertilization. Highly significant positive dependencies were found between the grain yield with 1000-grain weight, and test weight and significant positive dependencies were found between 1000-grain weight and test weight. Theresearch highlighted the impact of different fertilizer treatments on the yield and grain quality traits of winter triticale.

2016/2017. i 2017/2018. Najveće vrednosti ispitivanih osobina ustanovljene su u godini sa umerenim temperaturama i većom količinom
padavina u vegetacionoj 2017/2018. godini. Sorte Pobeda i NS 40 S imale su najveći prinos zrna tokom dvogodišnjeg istraživanja. Sorte Simonida i NS 40 S odlikovale su se najvećom masom 1000 zrna. Najveće vrednosti
hektolitarske mase ustanovljene su kod sorte Simonida. Analizom
varijanse ustanovljen je visoko značajan uticaj interakcije spoljašnje
sredine i genotipa na masu 1000 zrna i hektolitarsku masu kod ispitivanih sorti ozime pšenice.
AB  - The field experiment with the wheat varieties Pobeda, Simonida, NS 40
S and Zvezdana was set up on the smonica-type soil during the 2016/2017
and 2017/2018 growing seasons. The highest values of the observed
properties were established in the 2017/2018 vegetation year with moderate temperatures and a higher amount of precipitation. Varieties Pobeda and NS 40 S had the highest grain yield during the two-year study.
The varieties Simonida and NS 40 S were distinguished by the largest 1000
grain weight. The highest values of hectoliter weight were found in the
variety Simonida. The analysis of variance established a highly significant
influence of the interaction of external environment and genotype on the 1000 grain weight and the hectoliter mass of the tested varieties of winter
wheat.

Changes in quality indicators of different cucumber hybrid seeds during five years of aging

AB  - The aim of the research was to evaluate the effect of year and seed hybrids on the most significant indicators of the seed quality of cucumber. Testing the quality of seeds of three different hybrids of cucumber: Centauro F1, Edona F1 and Solatio F1 was carried out during a five-year period (2018 - 2022). Analysis of germination energy, seed germination, abnormal seedlings and dead seeds cucumber showed highly significant differences (r<0.01) under the influence of individual factors of the year (Y) and hybrid seed (H), as well as their interaction (Y × H). The seed germination of the examined hybrids by year slowly decreases and is the lowest at 94% in the fifth year (2022). The strongest positive correlation was established between germination energy and seed germination (r = 0.95635, p<0.001) and between abnormal seedlings and dead seeds (r = 0.92301, p<0.001). As expected, a negative and highly significant (p < 0.001) correlation was established between germination energy and: abnormal seedlings (r = -0.94535) and dead seeds (r = -0.93255). Likewise, a strongest negative (p < 0.001) correlation was found between seed germination and: abnormal seedlings (r = - 0.97497) and dead seeds (r = -0.98545). The obtained results indicate that the germination energy and seed germination of highly hybrid conventional cucumber seeds decreases significantly after the third year of aging, but only in the case of the Edona F1 hybrid.
AB  - Cilj istraživanja je bio da se izvrši ocena uticaja godine i hibrida semena na najznačajnije pokazatelje kvaliteta semena krastavca. Dobijeni rezultati treba da daju doprinos razumevanju smanjenja vrednosti pokazatelja kvaliteta visoko hibridnog semena krastavca tokom starenja. Ispitivanje kvaliteta semena tri različita hibrida krastavca: Centauro F1, Edona F1 i Solatio F1, izvedena su tokom pet godina (2018 - 2022). Analiza energije klijanja, klijavosti, nenormalnih klijanaca i mrtvog semena krastavca pokazala je visoko značajne razlike (р<0,01) pod uticajem pojedinačnih faktora godina (A) i hibrida semena (B), kao i njihove interakcija (A × B). Prosečna klijavost semena ispitivanih hibrida po godinama sporo opada i najniža je 94% u petoj (2022) godini. Dobijene vrednosti ukupne klijavosti posle pet godina ocenjivanja su visoke, jer prelaze zakonom dozvoljeni minimum od 80% za stavljanje semena krastavca u promet. Utvrđena je jaka pozitivna korelacija između energije klijanja i klijavosti semena (r = 0,95635, p<0,001) i između broja nenormalnih klijanaca i mrtvog semena (r = 0,92301, p<0,001). Kao što se očekivalo, konstatovana je visoka negativna korelacija (p < 0.001) između energije klijanja: procenta nenormalnih klijanaca (r = -0,94535) i mrtvog semena (r = -0,93255). Takođe, jaka negativna korelacija (p < 0,001) konstatovana je između klijavosti semena: nenormalnih klijanaca (r = - 0,97497) i mrtvog semena (r = -0,98545). AB  - Poljski ogled sa sortama pšenice Takovčanka, Kruna i Aleksandrapostavljen je na zemljištu tipa smonica tokom dve vegetacione sezone.Cilj istraživanja je bio da se kod tri kragujevačke sorte pšenice analiziraprinos, masa 1000 zrna i hektolitarska masa. Najveće vrednostiispitivanih osobina ustanovljene su u vegetacionoj 2019/20. godini.Najveći prinos zrna tokom dvogodišnjeg istraživanja ustanovljen je kodsorte Kruna. Sorta Takovčanka odlikovala se najvećom masom 1000zrna. Najveće vrednosti hektolitarske mase ustanovljene su kod sorteAleksandra, u obe ispitivane godine. Analizom varijanse ustanovljen jevisoko značajan uticaj interakcije agroklimatskih uslova na prinos, masu1000 zrna i hektolitarsku masu i značajan uticaj genotipa na hektolitarskumasu kod ispitivanih sorti ozime pšenice.
AB  - The field experiment with the wheat varieties Takovčanka, Kruna andAleksandra was set up on the smonitza-type soil during the two growing seasons. The aim of the research was to analyse the yield, weight of 1000grains and hectolitre weight of three Kragujevac wheat varieties. Thehighest values of the observed properties were established in the 2019/20vegetation year. Variety Kruna had the highest grain yield during the twoyearstudy. The Takovčanka variety was characterized by the highestweight of 1000 grains. The highest values of hectolitre weight were foundin the Aleksandra variety in both study years. The analysis of varianceestablished a highly significant influence of agro climatic conditions on theyield, weight of 1000 grains and the hectolitre weight and significantinfluence of genotype on the hectolitre weight of the tested varieties ofwinter wheat.

AB  - Poljski ogled sa sortama pšenice Pobeda, NS Vlajna i NS Azra
postavljen je na zemljištu tipa smonica tokom vegetacionih sezona
2016/17. i 2017/18. godine. Cilj istraživanja je bio da se kod tri
novosadske sorte pšenice gajene na slabo kiselom zemljištu analizira
prinos, masa 1000 zrna i hektolitarska masa zrna. Najveće vrednosti
ispitivanih osobina ustanovljene su u godini sa umerenim temperaturama
i većom količinom padavina u vegetacionoj 2017/18. godini. Sorta
Pobeda imala je najveći prinos zrna tokom dvogodišnjeg istraživanja.
Najvećom masom 1000 zrna i hektolitarskom masom odlikovala se sorta
NS Vlajna. Analizom varijanse ustanovljen je visoko značajan uticaj agroklimatskih uslova na hektolitarsku masu i visoko značajan uticaj
genotipa na masu 1000 zrna i hektolitarsku masu kod ispitivanih sorti
ozime pšenice.
AB  - The field experiment with the wheat varieties Pobeda, NS Vlajna and
NS Azra was set up on the smonica-type soil during the 2016/17 and 2017/18 growing seasons. The goal of the research was to analyze the
yield, mass of 1000 grains and hectoliter mass of three wheat varieties of
Novi Sad grown on slightly acidic soil. The highest values of the tested
properties were established in the year with moderate temperatures and a
higher amount of precipitation in the 2017/18 vegetation year. The
Pobeda variety had the highest grain yield during the two-year study. The
NS Vlajna variety was distinguished by the largest mass of 1000 grains
and hectoliter mass. Analysis of variance established a highly significant
influence of agroclimatic conditions on the hectoliter mass and a highly
significant influence of the genotype on the mass of 1000 grains and
hectoliter mass of the tested winter wheat varieties.

Футура, Мила, Обала, Влајна и Азра постављен је на земљишту типа
смоница током вегетационих сезона 2016/2017. и 2017/2018. године.
Циљ истраживања је био да се код осам новосадских сорти пшенице,
гајене на киселом земљишту, анализира принос и хектолитарска
маса зрна. Највеће вредности испитиваних особина установљене су
у години са умереним температурама и великом количином
падавина у вегетационој 2017/2018. години. Сорте Футура, Азра и
Обала имале су највећи принос зрна. Сорта Влајна одликовала се
највећом хектолитарском масом. Анализом варијансе установљен је
високо значајан утицај вегетационе сезоне на принос и
хектолитарску масу зрна.
AB  - The field experiment with wheat varieties NS-40 S, Zvezdana, Ilina,
Futura, Mila, Obala, Vlajna and Azra was set up on smonica type land
during the vegetation seasons of 2016/17 and 2017/18. The aim of the
research was to analyze the yield and hectoliter mass of eight Novi Sad
wheat cultivars grown on acidic soil. The highest values of the examined
traits were established in the year with moderate temperatures and a large
amount of precipitation in the vegetation year 2017/18. The varieties
Futura, Azra and Obala had the highest grain yield. The Vlajna variety
was characterized by the largest hectoliter mass. Analysis of variance
revealed a highly significant influence of the growing season on yield and
hectolitre mass.

AB  - Triticale is a new type of real grain, which was created by
the breeding and selection of a man. This species deserves
more and more attention from both domestic producers
and producers on a global scale because it encompassed
all the positive properties of wheat and rye. The paper
clearly presents the knowledge about the importance,
nutritional value and application of triticale and the effect
of its usage in a diet of monogastric animals. The variety
of uses, appropriate chemical composition, acceptable
and studied breeding technology, classifies triticale as
an irreplaceable source of energy and protein needs of
animals. Due to its multiple usages: for grain, fodder and
as a raw material for biofuel, contributes to the economic
sustainability of crop production. The needs of this plant at
the level of agrotechnical investments are less than in other
cereals, so triticale is increasingly presented in organic and
sustainable agricultural production.

AB  - Oat is widely grown in Western Serbia and compared to other cereal crops is reputed to be better suited for production under marginal environments, including low fertility soils and cool wet climates. To determine the effect of cultivar and growing seasons on the yield and components of the oats yield two varieties were examined during three years, in the field experiment of the secondary agricultural-chemical school “Dr Đorđe Radić” in Kraljevo. Trials were arranged according to a randomized scheme in five replications. The following oat traits were analyzed: grain yield, 1000-kernel weight, test weight and plant height. The experiment was performed on extremely acidic pseudogley soil. The obtained results show a high effect of the years on grain yield and certain parameters of its quality. On average, the highest yield of oats 2.879 t ha-1 was obtained in the variety Vranac. The results of these studies indicate a significant impact of the growing season on grain yield and quality of oats, grown on poor soils of the pseudogley type, which is often present in Western Serbia. Grain yield shows a tendency to increase in years with a higher total amount and better distribution of precipitation during the critical stages of oat plant development.
AB  - U cilju utvrđivanja uticaja sorte i vegetacione sezone na prinos i komponente prinosa ovsa ispitivane su dve sorte ovsa tokom tri vegetacione sezone na oglednom polju srednje poljoprivredno-hemijske škole "dr Đorđe Radić" u Kraljevu. Ogledi su postavljeni po šemi slučajnog rasporeda u pet ponavljanja. Analizirani su: prinos zrna, masa 1000 zrna, hektolitarska masa i visina biljaka. Ogled je zasnovan na ekstremno kiselom zemljištu tipa pseudoglej. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju visok efekat vegetacione sezone na prinos zrna i određene parametre njegovog kvaliteta. U proseku, za sve sorte, tokom trogodišnjeg ogleda, najveći prinos ovsa 2 .879 t ha -1 dobijen je kod sorte Vranac. Rezultati ovih istraživanja ukazuju na značajan uticaj vegetacione sezone na prinos zrna i kvalitet ovsa gajenog na siromašnim zemljištima tipa pseudoglej koje je često zastupljeno na područiju Zapadne Srbije. Prinos zrna pokazuje tendenciju rasta u godinama sa većom ukupnom količinom i boljom raspodelom padavina tokom kritičnih faza razvoja biljaka ovsa.
