prolećnu prihranu azotom. Pri maksimalnim količinama upotrebljenog azota (90 kg ha-1) ostvarene su najveće vrednosti posmatranog parametra
u sve tri godine posmatranog ogleda (72,5 cm, 77,1 cm i 68 cm). Visina izdanka zabeležila je zavisnost u odnosu na vremenske prilike, tako da je
treća godina (godina sa najvećom količinom padavina) uslovila ispiranje
đubriva u niže slojeve zemljišta i najmanju prosečnu vrednost visine
izdanka (68 cm).
AB  - Perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) reacts to spring feeding with nitrogen by increasing shoot height. With the maximum amount of
nitrogen used (90 kg ha-1), the highest values of the observed parameter
were achieved in all three years of the observed experiment (72.5 cm, 77.1
cm, and 68 cm). The height of the shoot also recorded a dependence related to the weather conditions, so that the third year (the year with the highest
amount of precipitation) resulted in the leaching of fertilizers into the lower layers of the soil and the lowest average value of the height of the shoot
(68 cm).

Impact of agro-ecological conditions and fertilization on yield and quality of triticale on pseudogley soil

AB  - The results of the study of the influence of fertilization and calcification on the yield and yield components of winter triticale grown on low pH soil are presented in this paper. Five variants of fertilization were tested during three growing seasons. Trial treatments included different fertilization variants: V1-control, V2-N120, V3-N120P80K60, V4-N120P80K60 + 5 t ha- 1 of lime and V5-N120P80K60 + 5 t ha-1 of lime + 30 t ha-1 of manure. The results of the research showed that all yield components responded positively to the application of mineral nutrition by changing the production characteristics and grain quality. The variant with the combined application of NPK, lime and manure had the greatest positive effect on all tested parameters affecting triticale productivity. During the study, the highest yield of triticale 5.826 t ha-1 was obtained on the fertilization variant with the combined application of lime, manure and NPK fertilizers. The achieved increase in the grain yield of triticale was significant compared to the control and the NPK variant of fertilization. Highly significant positive dependencies were found between the grain yield with 1000-grain weight, and test weight and significant positive dependencies were found between 1000-grain weight and test weight. Theresearch highlighted the impact of different fertilizer treatments on the yield and grain quality traits of winter triticale.

Variability and heritability of technological characteristics of Amaranthus leaves and seeds

AB  - This study aimed to determine the variability properties of four major types of Amaranthus species in protein and amino acids content in leaves and flowers. Obtained results by ion exchange chromatography in our study have shown high values for the content of essential amino acids lysine and methionine. In the leaf, the lysine content ranged from 3.9 (A. caudatus) to 7.0 (A. cruentus; A. moleros), and in the flowers from 4.2 (A.  caudatus)  to  6.7  (A.  molleros).  The  methionine  content  ranged  from  3.1  (A.  caudatus)  to  7.4  (A. mantegazzianus) in the leaf and in the flower from 2.9 (A. caudatus) to 6.7 (A. mantegazzianus). Besides lysine and  methionine,  significant  values  of  other  essential  amino  acids  were  recorded,  respectively.  Significant concentrations of total proteins were recorded in all examined genotypes. The heritability of the studied characters as protein and mineral content of seeds and leaves, and oil contents of seed were significantly high. The maximum values of the protein content of seeds were 16.55% (A. cruentus), in leaves 20.10% (A. caudatus), and the minerals in seeds 2.73% (A. moleros), and leaves 18.76% (A. mantegazzianus). The oil content of seeds was 6.16% (A. moleros). The oil content of the seed’s proportion of genetic variance to total phenotypic variance was 72%, and it has a significant impact on ecological factors. Tested divergent Amaranthus genotypes may serve as parents for further crossing. Amaranth seeds is gluten-free and is important in the diet of celiac patients and contains amino acids, especially lysine, which acts against the herpes virus. Amaranth from amaranth leaves biologically active substance that prevents heart muscle damage during ischemic processes. Amaranth seed oil has hypolipemic, anti-atherosclerotic, hypotensive and antioxidant activity.

The significance of amaranthus in organic agriculture i its phytopharmacological benefits

AB  - Extracts derived from these plants' medicinal and bioactive constituents are utilized in the
production of dietary supplements, health-safe food, medicinal products, and cosmetics.
Among the pseudocereals widely cultivated in organic agriculture, amaranth, buckwheat,
and quinoa play pivotal roles. These pseudocereals are characterized by their substantial
content of starch, protein, β-carotene, dietary fiber, minerals, vitamins, and other bioactive
constituents. Of particular interest is Amaranthus caudatus L. (Amaranthaceae), which has
garnered increasing scientific and industrial attention owing to its remarkable bioactive
properties, diverse phytochemical composition, and extensive range of pharmacological
actions. In contrast to wheat, rice, and oats, amaranth seeds are gluten-free and contain
30% more proteins with a well-balanced amino acid profile. Beyond its nutritional value,
numerous studies have highlighted the significance of A. caudatus as a potential source of
biologically active compounds, exhibiting anti-diabetic, anti-hyperlipidemic, antiinflammatory,
and anti-hypercholesterolemic effects, as well as antioxidant and
antimicrobial activities. By incorporating amaranth into our diets, we can harness the
manifold benefits of this remarkable pseudocereal, ultimately fostering health promotion
and disease prevention. This work serves as a catalyst for further scientific investigations
in this field, paving the way for innovative technological advancements within the realms
of food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics that harness the potential of this extraordinary
plant.

AB  - Biljke svojim cvetovima, sokovima i smolama daju pčelama hranu,
stvaraju uslove za pravilan život pčelinjeg društva i predstavljaju osnovu
za dobijanje pčelinjih proizvoda - meda, cvetnog praha, mleča, voska,
propolisa i pčelinjeg otrova. Najzastupljenije medonosne biljke kod nas su:
divlji kesten, bagrem, lipa, jorgovan, kupina, facelija, heljda, suncokret,
zvezdan, lavanda, neven, žalfija, morač, šafran, itd. Pčele imaju veliki
značaj za živi svet na našoj planeti. U poslednje vreme sve je više evidentna
ugroženost pčela. Ova studija prikazuje medonosne biljke i efekte koje pesticidi imaju na pčele i njihovu produktivnost. Najčešći put kontaminacije je izloženost pčela agro-hemikalijama koje se koriste za zaštitu useva i njihova primena na useve. Izloženost pčela pesticidima je kroz gutanje ostataka koji se nalaze u polenu i nektaru biljaka. Zbog svega navedenog dati su praktični saveti za izbegavanje štetnih uticaja pesticida u pčelarstvu kako bi se izbegle štetne posledice.
AB  - Plants, with their flowers, juices and resins, give bees food, create
conditions for the proper life of the bee colony and represent the basis for
obtaining bee products - honey, pollen, nectar, wax, propolis and bee
venom. The most common honey plants in our country are: wild chestnut,

AB  - Mirođija (Anethum graveolens L.) je jednogodišnja začinska i lekovita biljka iz familije Apiaceae. Visoka energija klijanja i procenat klijavosti su potrebni za postizanje visokog prinosa. Cilj ovog istraživanja je bio utvrđivanje najefikasnijeg biopreparata sa blagotvornim dejstvom na energiju klijanja, ukupnu klijavost i zdravstveno stanje semena mirođije. Ispitivanja su sprovedena sa dva sredstva za zaštitu bilja, dozvoljena u organskoj proizvodnji (‟Extrasol F” i ‟Polyversum”) i tri biljna preparata (‟Fermentisani ekstrakt hajdučke trave”, ‟Fermentisani ekstrakt čička” i ‟Fermentisana mešavina LAB mix”). Klijavost semena je povećana u svim tretmanima u odnosu na kontrolu. Tretmani preparatom ‟Fermentisana mešavina LAB mix” ispoljili su najveći uticaj na energiju klijanja i ukupnu klijavost semena. Na osnovu simptoma i znakova bolesti, prisustvo Alternaria sp. je potvrđeno na površini semena mirođije. U poređenju sa kontrolom, zaraza semena je smanjena u tretmanima sa preparatima ‟Fermentisana mešavina LAB mix” i 
‟Fermentisani ekstrakt čička”.
AB  - Dill (Anethum graveolens L.) is an annual herb and medicinal plant from the Apiaceae family. High energy germination and germination percentage are required to achieve high yield. The aim of the study was to discover the most efficient biopreparations with a beneficial effect on dill seed energy germination, total germination and seed health. Testing was conducted with two plant protection products, permitted in organic production (‟Extrasol F” and ‟Polyversum”), and three herbal preparations (‟Fermented extract of yarrow”, ‟Fermented burdock extract” and ‟Fermented LAB mix”). The seed germination was increased in all treatments, in comparison to control. The treatments with the preparation ‟Fermented LAB mix” manifested the greatest influence on energy germination and total seed germination. Based on the symptoms and signs of the disease, the presence of Alternaria sp. was confirmed on the surface of dill seeds. The seed infection was reduced in treatments with ‟Fermented LAB mix” and ‟Fermented Burdock Extract” compared to the control treatment.

AB  - U ovoj studiji, analizirana je proizvodnja pšenice u dvadesetogodišnjem periodu (2001-2020. godina) u svetu i u Srbiji. Variranja visine prinosa zrna po jedinici površine u Srbiji poređene su sa količinom padavina u vegetacionom periodu pšenice. Kvantifikovanjem uticaja klimatskih promena na proizvodnju pšenice daje nam mogućnost da se kreiraju dugoročni planovi u poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji kako bi se održao visok i stabilan prinos zrna. Prosečan prinos zrna, za ispitivani period u svetu, iznosio je 3.112 kg ha-1 dok je u Srbiji bio veći za 26% i iznosio je 3.925 kg ha-1. I pored značajnih godišnjih variranja, trend povećanja prinosa pšenice u svetu bio je značajan. U 2020. godini prosečan prinos zrna u svetu je povećan za 23,5%, a u Srbiji za 34,6% u poređenju sa 2001. godinom. Analiza proizvodnje, kod svetski najvažnijih snabdevača pšenicom, beleži značajno povećanje prinosa po jedinici površine, kao i ukupnu proizvodnju.
AB  - This study analyzed wheat production in the twenty-year period (2001-2020) in the world and in Serbia. Variations in the yield of wheat grains per unit area in Serbia were compared with the amount of precipitation in the growing season. By quantifying the impact of climate change on wheat production, it gives us the opportunity to create long-term plans in agricultural production in order to maintain a high and stable grain yield. The average grain yield, for the examined period in the world, amounted to 3,112 kg ha-1, while in Serbia it was higher by 26% and amounted to 3,925 kg ha-1. Despite significant annual variations, the trend of increasing wheat yields in the world was significant. In 2020, the average grain yield in the world increased by 23.5%, and in Serbia by 34.6% compared to 2001. The analysis of production at the world's most important wheat suppliers records a significant increase in yield per unit area, as well as total production. AB  - Alfalfa is the most important forage legume in our agroecological conditions for feeding cattle. In the area of Jablanica district, alfalfa occupies a considerable place in the total plant production. The restrictive factor in the establishment and short durability of alfalfa stand is the low pH of arable agricultural soil. Within the three-year field trial on Vertisol soil type (pH in KCl 4.9), from 2016 to 2018, alfalfa plot yield has been analyzed with different fertilization variants. The research results indicate that alfalfa provides a significantly higher yield on the plot where amelioration measures were applied, through the application of limestone and manure, with the addition of mineral fertilizer. A barely lower yield was achieved on the calcified and manured plot, while the lowest yield was on the control plot, where a generous amount of mineral fertilizer was added, which is a common practice of agricultural producers in the area of Jablanica district.
AB  - Lucerka je najvažnija leguminoza za ishranu stoke u našim agroekološkim uslovima. Na području Jablaničkog okruga lucerka zauzima značajno mesto u ukupnoj biljnoj proizvodnji. Ograničavajući faktor u formiranju i kratkom veku trajanja lucerke je nizak pH obradivog poljoprivrednog zemljišta. U trogodišnjem terenskom istraživanju zemljišta tipa Vertisol (pH u KCl 4,9) od 2016. do 2018. godine analiziran je prinos lucerke na parcelama sa različitim varijantama prihrane. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju da lucerka daje znatno veći prinos na parceli na kojoj su primenjene mere sanacije melioracije, primenom krečnjaka i stajskog đubriva uz dodatak mineralnog đubriva. Nešto niži prinos postignut je na parceli na kojoj je zemljište kalcifikovano i sanirano stajskim đubrivom, dok je najmanji prinos postignut na kontrolnoj parceli, gde je primenjena veća količina mineralnog đubriva, što je zapravo uobičajena praksa poljoprivrednih proizvođača Jablaničkog okruga.

AB  - In addition to the well-known use of medicinal plants in traditional
(popular) and official (modern) medicine, medicinal plants are
increasingly used in the very production of plants. More specifically, at
the beginning of the twentieth century, with the introduction of hitherto
unknown production methods (biodynamic and organic), the activities
concerning the use of this type of plants were intensified in various types
of plant production (arable, vegetable, fruit and viticultural and other), as
well as in the production of various plant nutrition and plant protection
products, of compost and similar products. In this paper discusses the use
of a certain portion of medicinal plant species, the ones which are
predominantly used in biodynamic and organic production.
The first part of the paper presents some of the most used medicinal
plant species used for this purpose: stinging nettle (Urtica dioica L.),
comfrey (Symphytum officinale Wallwort), dandelion (Taraxacum
officinalis Weber), garlic (Allium sativum L.), horsetail (Equisetum
arvense L.), chamomile (Chamomilla recutita (L.) Rausch.), tansy
(Tanacetum vulgare L.), yarrow (Achillea millefolium L.), pot marigold
(Calendula officinalis L.), valerian (Valeriana officinalis L.), marigolds
(Tagetes sp.) and burdock (Arctium lappa L.). As different organs are
used from these species, the time of the harvesting (picking) of these
species is of great importance. The most suitable picking moment is from
the beginning until the full blossom phase, because during this period,
the listed species are the richest in their typical active substances, microand
macro elements.
The second part briefly explains how and by what means the listed
species are used in biodynamic and organic production, how and in which
manner to prepare by some of the recipes for the making of individual
preparations, as well as what their purpose is in plant nutrition, plant
protection and/or the preparation of compost.

AB  - Oat is widely grown in Western Serbia and compared to other cereal crops is reputed to be better suited for production under marginal environments, including low fertility soils and cool wet climates. To determine the effect of cultivar and growing seasons on the yield and components of the oats yield two varieties were examined during three years, in the field experiment of the secondary agricultural-chemical school “Dr Đorđe Radić” in Kraljevo. Trials were arranged according to a randomized scheme in five replications. The following oat traits were analyzed: grain yield, 1000-kernel weight, test weight and plant height. The experiment was performed on extremely acidic pseudogley soil. The obtained results show a high effect of the years on grain yield and certain parameters of its quality. On average, the highest yield of oats 2.879 t ha-1 was obtained in the variety Vranac. The results of these studies indicate a significant impact of the growing season on grain yield and quality of oats, grown on poor soils of the pseudogley type, which is often present in Western Serbia. Grain yield shows a tendency to increase in years with a higher total amount and better distribution of precipitation during the critical stages of oat plant development.
AB  - U cilju utvrđivanja uticaja sorte i vegetacione sezone na prinos i komponente prinosa ovsa ispitivane su dve sorte ovsa tokom tri vegetacione sezone na oglednom polju srednje poljoprivredno-hemijske škole "dr Đorđe Radić" u Kraljevu. Ogledi su postavljeni po šemi slučajnog rasporeda u pet ponavljanja. Analizirani su: prinos zrna, masa 1000 zrna, hektolitarska masa i visina biljaka. Ogled je zasnovan na ekstremno kiselom zemljištu tipa pseudoglej. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju visok efekat vegetacione sezone na prinos zrna i određene parametre njegovog kvaliteta. U proseku, za sve sorte, tokom trogodišnjeg ogleda, najveći prinos ovsa 2 .879 t ha -1 dobijen je kod sorte Vranac. Rezultati ovih istraživanja ukazuju na značajan uticaj vegetacione sezone na prinos zrna i kvalitet ovsa gajenog na siromašnim zemljištima tipa pseudoglej koje je često zastupljeno na područiju Zapadne Srbije. Prinos zrna pokazuje tendenciju rasta u godinama sa većom ukupnom količinom i boljom raspodelom padavina tokom kritičnih faza razvoja biljaka ovsa.

AB  - Просо је жито високе нутритивне вредности и главни је извор
енергије и протеина за милионе људи у свету. Користи га једна
трећина светске популације у исхрани. Све више се користи у
исхрани због позитивног ефекта на здравље људи. У овом раду,
анализирана је светска производња проса и агрономске
карактеристике домаћих сорти Бисерке и Руменке, гајених на
чернозему, у Бачком Петровцу, са нагласком на еколошке захтеве,
потенцијал родности и нутритивне вредности. Просо заузима шесто
место у свету међу житарицама, a највећи произвођачи проса су
Азија и Африка. Захваљујући високој отпорности на сушу, просо
бележи тренд раста површина у свету. Просечни светски приноси
зрна су 900 kg ha-1. Новосадске сорте оствариле су статистички
значајно више просечне приносе зрна (2,9 t ha-1) у односу на светске
приносе. Просо има одличну перспективу за гајење у Србији и
алтернативни је усев у спречавању несташице хране и глади у
сушним рејонима.
AB  - Millet is acereal, high nutritional value, and is a major source of
energy and protein for millions of people in worldwide. It is used by one
third of the world's population in the diet. It is more represented in the
diet due to the positive effect on human health. In this study, the millet
world production and agronomic characteristics of domestic varieties
Biserka and Rumenka were analyzed, grown on chernozem, in Bački
Petrovac, with emphasis on environmental requirements, fertility
potential and nutritional value. Millet ranks sixth in the world among
cereals and the largest producers of millet are Asia and Africa. Thanks to
the high resistance to drought, millet has a growing trend in the world.
The average world grain yield is 900 kg ha-1. NS varieties achieved
statistically significantly higher average grain yields (2.9 t ha-1) in
relation to world yields. Millet has an excellent prospect for growing in
Serbia and is an alternative crop in preventing food shortages and famine
in arid regions.

world production and agronomic characteristics of domestic varieties
Biserka and Rumenka were analyzed, grown on chernozem, in Bački
Petrovac, with emphasis on environmental requirements, fertility
potential and nutritional value. Millet ranks sixth in the world among
cereals and the largest producers of millet are Asia and Africa. Thanks to
the high resistance to drought, millet has a growing trend in the world.
The average world grain yield is 900 kg ha-1. NS varieties achieved
statistically significantly higher average grain yields (2.9 t ha-1) in
relation to world yields. Millet has an excellent prospect for growing in
Serbia and is an alternative crop in preventing food shortages and famine
in arid regions.",

AB  - Циљ овог рада био је да се утврди варијабилност продуктивних

представљаће део вишегодишњих сортних истраживања која ће се
изводити на овом имању. Први резултати су показали да неповољни
временски услови нису значајно утицали на смањење приноса
захваљујући савременој технологији производње кукуруза која се
примењује на Напретку. Просечан принос сировог зрна (17,7%
влажности) био је 17,02 t ha-1. Фолијарна хранива нису утицала на
принос, јер су употребљена у сушном периоду.
AB  - The aim of this study was to determine the variability of productive
traits of maize hybrids of different FAO maturation groups on foliar plant
nutrition in agro-ecological conditions of Srem. Macro-examinations
were set up at the Napredak farm in Stara Pazova. The land belonged to
the carbonate chernozem type. These experiments will be part of many years of varietal research that will be performed on this property. The
first results showed that unfavorable weather conditions did not
significantly affect the reduction of yield thanks to the modern
technology of corn production applied to Napredak. The average yield of
raw grain (17.7% moisture) was 17.02 t ha-1. The foliar nutrients did not
affect the yield, because they were used in the period when there was no
precipitation.

AB  - Енглески љуљ (Lolium perenne L.) припада породици бокорастих
трава (Poaceae) и са агрономског аспектапредставља најважнију
врсту трава за пашњаке у умереној клими. Огледи са енглеским
љуљом изведени су у агроеколошким условима Шумадије
налокалитету Даросава, у трогодишњем периоду, 2012-2014 година.
У испитиваном временском периоду, просечна клијавост семена
износила је 66%. Највећа просечна вредност укупне клијавости
семена током експеримента постигнута је 2013. године (93,6%) док
је најмања укупна клијавост семена забележена у 2014. години
(66,1%). На овај параметар снажан утицај имале су количине
падавина. Друга година испитивања била је најповољнија за
семенску производњу енглеског љуља. Размак редова и пролећно
ђубрење азотом значајно су утицали на укупну клијавост семена
енглеског љуља. Са повећањем удаљености или количине
употребљеног ђубрива, вредност укупног клијања семена је расла
током свих тестираних година. Утицај сетвене норме је био супротан, са повећањем количине семена долазило је до смањења
укупне клијавости у све три године.
AB  - Perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) belongs to the family of bunch
grasses (Poaceae) and from the agronomical point of view it represents
most important type of grass for pastures in temperate climates.
Experiments with perennial ryegrass were performed in agro ecological
conditions of Šumadija, locality Darosava in period of three years (2012-
2014). The examined period, the highest average seed germination was
66%. Highest average value of total seed germination during the
experiment is achieved in 2013th (93.6%), until lowest total seed
germination is noticed in 2014th (66.1%). Precipitation parameters had a
strong influence on this parameter. Second year of experiment was the
most favorable for perennial grass seed production. Distance between
rows and spring fertilization of nitrogen had a significant influence on
total seed germination of perennial ryegrass. With increasing of distances
or quantity of used fertilizer, value of total seed germination has grown
during all testing years. The impact of sowing rate was the opposite, with
increasing of seed quantity there was a decrease in total germination in all
three years

AB  - With a circular economy, biodegradable waste - plant biomass can be reused as: compost, for soil
fertilization, and for biogas production, as an affordable bioenergy source. In this study, the
productivity of two hybrids of fodder sorghum, grown in Ilandza, Serbia, was examined. The
results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the tested hybrids, for
leaf mass. A positive highly significant correlation was found between plant mass and leaf mass.
Fodder sorghum is a species with C4 photosynthesis, which has a high degree of photosynthetic
activity and has a high production of organic matter resulting in high biomass yield. Sorghum is a
productive and cost-effective plant suitable for production feed but also for energy purposes.
AB  - Циркуларном економијом, биоразградиви отпад-биомаса биљака може се користити као:
компост али и за производњу биогаса, као приступачан извор биоенергије. У овој студији
испитивана је продуктивност два хибрида крмног сирка, гајеног у Иланџи, Србији.
Резултати су показали да постоји статистички значајна разлика између тестираних хибрида.
Пронађена је позитивна значајна корелација између биомасе биљака и масе листа. Крмни
сирак је врста са С4 фотосинтезом, има висок степен фотосинтетске активности и високу
производњу органске материје што резултира високим приносом биомасе. Продуктивна је
врста, погодна за производњу хране али и за енергетске сврхе.

AB  - This study examined the influence of agroecological conditions on the ontogenesis and production yield traits of black oat (Avena strigosa Schreb.). Understanding the agronomic and phenological properties related to productive properties of black oats can enable more successful introduction into new areas of oat cultivation. Field microexperiments were performed during the three consecutive years (2017-2019) on the two localities in South Banat, in Serbia, which differed in soil type: carbonate chernozem and humogley, respectively. The results showed that all investigated traits of oat in the chernozem soil type were higher when compared with measured traits obtained from the humogley soil type. The average value of yields of aboveground biomass, yield and protein content were significantly higher in relation to the humogley, by 13%, 17% and 11%, respectively for all three seasons. Observed by years, all productivity parameters differed significantly, which confirmed that the productivity of the cultivated plants was strongly influenced by different agroecological, soil and climatic conditions in Pannonian environments. The aboveground biomass and grain yield obtained from the humogley soil type indicate that this species can be successfully grown and utilized in production as a cover or fodder crop even in less favorable soil conditions.

The results showed that all investigated traits of oat in the chernozem soil type were higher when compared with measured traits obtained from the humogley soil type. The average value of yields of aboveground biomass, yield and protein content were significantly higher in relation to the humogley, by 13%, 17% and 11%, respectively for all three seasons. Observed by years, all productivity parameters differed significantly, which confirmed that the productivity of the cultivated plants was strongly influenced by different agroecological, soil and climatic conditions in Pannonian environments. The aboveground biomass and grain yield obtained from the humogley soil type indicate that this species can be successfully grown and utilized in production as a cover or fodder crop even in less favorable soil conditions.",

AB  - The objectives of this study were to investigate: (1) the effects of fertilization, environment, and their interactions on the thousand grain weight (TGW), hectolitre weight (HW) and grain yield (GY) of winter triticale, and (2) the correlations between these traits in different environments. The invariable nitrogen (80 kg N ha(-1)), potassium (60 kg K2O ha(-1)) and two phosphorus (60 and 100 kg P(2)O(5)ha(-1)) doses were used in Kragujevac location in central Serbia. Nitrogen was applied individually and in combination with two phosphorus rates and one rate of potassium fertilizer. Eight fertilization treatment controls and N-80, P-60, P-100, N80P60K60, N80P100K60, N(80)P(60)and N(80)P(100)were examined during three growing seasons. The yield and quality of triticale significantly varied across years and treatments. The average yield of all treatments in the 2015 growing season was significantly greater than in the previous years (3.597 t ha(-1)). Combined usage of NPK fertilizer (80 kg N ha(-1), 100 kg P(2)O(5)ha(-1)and 60 kg K2O ha(-1)) represented the excellent base for optimum supply of major nutrients, resulting in maximum GY (4.0 t ha(-1)). Negative and significant correlation was found between grain GY and TGW (-0.392*) in 2015, and positive highly significant correlation were in 2013 (0.648*) and 2014 (0.493*). The positive effect over complete application of fertilizer is the result of a lower pH value of the soil, as well as the low content of available phosphorus and potassium in Vertisol soil type. Optimizing fertilization for maximum profitability is of great importance in the future triticale production in Pannonian Environments.

AB  - The objectives of this study were to investigate: (1) the effects of cultivar, environment, and
their interactions on the grain yield, test weight and 1000 kernel weight of winter triticale, and
(2) the correlations between these traits in different environments. Based on the grain results
during a three-year investigation with two cultivars, it can be concluded that the grain yield of
triticale significantly varied across years, from 4.251 t/ha in 2010/11 to 5.791 t/ha in 2012/13 in
the study.
The investigated period clearly indicates that highly significant effect of year was found on
grain yield, test weight and 1000 kernel weight. Furthermore, test weight was highly significant
regarding the interaction of the year and cultivar and significant for 1000 kernel weight.
Environmental conditions have had a significant effect on grain yield and quality in triticale.
Grain yield shows a tendency to increase in the years having a higher total amount and better
distribution of rainfall during critical plant development stages.
AB  - Ciljevi ove studije bili su istražiti: (1) uticaje sorte, životne sredine i njihove interakcije na
prinos zrna, hektolitarsku masu i masu 1000 zrna kod ozimog tritikalea i (2) povezanost tih
osobina u različitim vegetacionim sezonama. Na osnovu dobijenih rezultata, tokom trogodišnjeg
istraživanja dve sorte tritikalea, može se zaključiti da je prinos zrna tokom godina značajno
varirao od 4.251 t/ha u 2010/11 do 5.791 t/ha u 2012/13. Analizom varijanse ustanovljen je
izuzetno značajan uticaj godine na prinos zrna, masu 1000 zrna i hektolitarsku masu. Štaviše,
hektolitarska masa bila je vrlo značajna i značajna za masu 1000 zrna kod interakcije godina x
sorta.
Uslovi životne sredine su imali značajan uticaj na prinos zrna i kvalitet tritikalea. Prinos
zrna pokazuje tendenciju rasta u godinama koje imaju veću ukupnu količinu i bolju raspodelu
padavina tokom kritičnih faza razvoja biljaka.

2011/12 godine. Cilj istraţivanja je bio da se kod pet sorti pšenice gajenih na
kiselom zemljištu analizira prinos zrna. Najveće vrednosti prinosa zrna
ustanovljene su u godini sa umerenim temperaturama i velikom količinom
padavina u vegetacionoj 2007/08 godini. Prosečan prinos zrna sorti pšenice kretao
se od 3.743 t ha-1 do 6.275 t ha-1. Sorte Kruna, Planeta i Vizija imale su najveći
prinos zrna. Na osnovu analize varijanse, moţe se zaključiti da postoje vrlo
značajne razlike u prinosu zrna u odnosu na godinu ispitivanja, dok između
istraţivanih sorti pšenice razlike nisu bile signifikantne.
AB  - Field trial with wheat varieties Takovčanka, Planeta, Kruna, Toplica
and Vizija was set on vertisol-type soil during the vegetation seasons 2005/06-
2011/12. The aim of the research was to analyse the grain yield in five varieties of
wheat cultivated on acid soil. The highest values of grain yield were established in
the year with moderate temperatures and high precipitation in the vegetation year
2007/08. Average grain yield of wheat cultivars ranged from 3.743 t ha-1 to 6.275 t
ha-1. The Kruna, Planeta and Vizija varieties had the highest yield of grain. Based
on the analysis of variance, it can be concluded that there are very significant
differences in grain yield regard the year of investigation, while among the
investigated wheat cultivars the differences were not significant.

AB  - Istraživanja su sprovedena tokom dve godine na oglednom polju Instituta za
kukuruz u Zemun Polju. Cilj ovog istraživanja je bio utvrđivanje značajnosti izvora
varijacije dužine klasa, mase zrna i broja zrna po klasu kod dvoredog ječma, kao i sorti i
linija na bazi ispitivanih osobina i izdvajanje superiornih genotipova. Prosečna dužina
klasa za sve ispitivane genotipove dvoredog ječma varirala je od 8,07 cm (2010) do 8,87
cm (2009), dok je prosečna dvogodišnja dužina klasa iznosila 8,47 cm. Prosečan broj zrna
po klasu je iznosio 24,1, dok je prosečna masa zrna po klasu za sve ispitivane genotipove
iznosila je 1,132 g.
AB  - The research was conducted for two years in the experimental field of the Maize
Research Institute in Zemun Polje. The aim of this study was to determine the significance
of the source of the class components of the two-rowed barley, as well as the varieties and
lines based on the investigated properties and the extraction of superior genotypes that
exhibit high and stable yields of class. The average length of spike for all examined
genotypes of two-rowed barley ranged from 8.07 cm (2010) to 8.87 cm (2009), while the
average length of spike was 8.47 cm. The average number of grains per spike was 24.1,
while the average grain weight per spike for all investigated genotypes was 1.132 g.

AB  - The experiment was established at the experimental field of the Small Grains Research Centre
in Kragujevac (Serbia) during the two growing seasons. The objective of the research was to
evaluate the effect of genotype and the environment on the grain yield of winter wheat
cultivars (Takovčanka, Kruna, Planeta and Vizija). The following characteristics were
analysed: grain yield, 1000 grain weight and test weight. The average grain yield of all
cultivars in the 2010/11 growing season was significantly greater than in the 2009/10 year,
mostly as the result of highly favourable weather conditions at major stages of plant
development. Takovčanka and Kruna gave significantly higher grain yields in all years
compared to Planeta. Averaged across years, significantly higher values for 1.000 grain
weight were found in Planeta and test weight was found in Takovčanka. Different responses
of cultivars to variable agroenvironmental conditions in terms of grain yield and 1.000 grain
weight and test weight require the use of a number of cultivars in the crop structure.

AB  - Tests were carried out on stationary field trial, soil type vertisol in the process of degradation. The land on which the view is derived is characterized by low pH (pH lt 5.0). The Dose of nitrogen was 120 kg N/ha, which was administered in combination with phosphorous and potassium fertilizer. The tests showed a significant grain yield. Nitrogen had a most significant impact on the yield of wheat. The average grain yield of all treatments in the 2008/09 growing season was significantly greater than in the following years, mostly as the result of highly favourable weather conditions at major stages of plant development. The average highest yield was achieved in the variant N120P100K60 (5.528 t/ha), although the high yield of more than 5 t/ha was obtained and the triple treatments NPK where nitrogen is applied in the maximum amount of 120 kg/ha, 60 kg/ha P2O5 and 60 kg/ha K2O as well as variants NP in a quantity of 100 kg/ha P2O5 and 60 kg/ha K2O. Also, the 1000-grain weight was highest in balanced fertilization with all nutrients NPK (40 g), in a quantity of 120 kg N/ha, 100 kg/ha P2O5 and 60 kg/ha K2O. Averaged across years, significantly higher values for test weight were found in the control (76.91 kg/hl). Variance analysis showed statistically significant differences for grain yield and test weight between the vegetation seasons. Significant differences for 1000 grain weight between the variants of fertilization.

AB  - Četvorogodišnji mikroogledi su postavljeni 2015. godine i izvedeni
na poljoprivrednim površinama sela Petkovica (opština Šabac). Predmet
istraţivanja bila je domaća sorta pasulja Sremac, koja je sejana u prolećnom roku,
a u 2018. godini i postrno. Proizvodnja je organizovana na vrlo siromašnom
zemljištu teškog mehaničkog sastava sa preovlaĎujućom fizičkom glinom (oko
68%) pa je uz mineralna NPK hraniva korišćena i organska biomasa (kompost i
saturacioni mulj). Pasulj je gajen na većim površinama uz primenu standardne
tehnologije proizvodnje, a posle setve obeleţavane su eksperimentalne parcele.
Tokom izvoĎenja ogleda detaljno su analizirani osnovni meteorološki podaci vodni
reţim i raspored toplote u vegetacionom periodu pasulja. Prva i treća godina bile
su sa značajno manjim količinama padavina u periodu april-septembar i sa dugim
sušnim periodima tokom leta, dok su druga i četvrta godina imale vrlo povoljan
reţim padavina. Varijabilnost vremenskih uslova značajno je uticala na visinu
ostvarenih prinosa, a u četvrtoj godini omogućila i uspešnu postrnu setvu (Vasić i
sar., 2007).
Osnovni cilj istraţivanja bio je da se utvrdi koliki prinos zrna se moţe ostvariti
sortom koja je tolerantna na sušu i podesna za gajenje u suvom ratarenju. Na
osnovu ostvarenih prinosa, obračunatih materijalnih troškova i angaţovanja
mehanizacije, odreĎeno je procentualno učešće varijabilnih troškova proizvodnje u
ceni proizvoda. Dobijene vrednosti mogu posluţiti kao preporuka malim
farmerima kako uz najpodesnije agrotehničke metode mogu ostvariti što veći bruto
finansijski rezultat u proizvodnji pasulja.
AB  - The four-year field trials were set in 2015 and carried out on
agricultural surfaces of the village village Petkovic (municipality Sabac). The
subject of the research was beans, domestic variety Sremac, which was sown in the
spring, and in 2018, as stubble crop. Beans are grown on a very poor soil with a
heavy mechanical composition with a predominant physical clay (about 68%).
Therefore, organic (compost and saturated sludge) and NPK mineral fertilizers are
used in the nutrition of plants. The beans are grown on large plots with the
application of standard production technology. Experimental plots were marked
after sowing. During the experiment, the detailed meteorological data were
analyzed in detail by the water regime and the distribution of heat in the vegetation
period of the bean. Basic meteorological data (water regime, and heat distribution)
were analyzed during the vegetation period of beans. The first and third years were
with significantly smaller amounts of precipitation in the period April-September
and with long drought periods during the summer, while the second and fourth
years had a very favorable precipitation regime. Variability of weather conditions
significantly influenced the amount of yields achieved, and in the fourth year
enabled successful stubble sowing (Vasić et al., 2007).
The basic aim of the research was to determine the extent of grain yield can be
achieved by a drought tolerant variety and suitable for growing in dry cropping
system. On the basis of realized yields, calculated material costs and engagement
of mechanization, the percentage participation of variable production determined is
costs in the price of the product. The values obtained can be used as a
recommendation to small farmers to achieve the highest gross financial result in
the production of beans with the most suitable scientific farming methods.

AB  - Rezultati trogodišnjih mikroogleda, predstavljeni u ovom radu, deo
su višegodišnjih istraživanja započetih 2012. godine na oglednom polju u Surduku.
Predmet istraživanja je miskantus, klon uvezen iz Nemačke za potrebe introdukcije
u poljoprivrednu proizvodnju energetskih useva. Zasad je zasnovan na černozemu
na lesnoj zaravni koji pripada kategoriji najplodnijih zemljišta. U periodu 2016-
2018., postavljene su dve varijante istraživanja (kontrola i varijanta sa
prihranjivanjem azotom). Tokom godišnjeg životnog ciklusa praćena je dinamika
porasta biljaka, merenjem morfoloških pokazatelja u fenofazama najvažnijim za
formiranje prinosa stabala. Posle berbe određeni su sadržaj vode i celuloze u
vazdušno suvim stablima i obračunat prinos stabala. Dobijene vrednosti poređene
su po godinama istraživanja da bi se odredio uticaj meteoroloških činilaca na
godišnji porast miskantusa. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da miskantus vrlo dobro
uspeva na plodnom zemljištu dajući visoku produkciju biomase. U trogodišnjem
proseku dobijeno je 24.990 kg ha-1 vazdušno suvih stabala. Miskantus je tolerantan
na letnje suše zahvaljujući snažnom i dubokohodnom korenovom sistemu koji se
svake godine razvija i pojedine žile prodiru u duboke slojeve zemljišta. Tokom
istraživanja u sve tri godine bilo je manje padavina od uslovno-optimalnih, ali je
najpovoljniji mesečni raspored bio u 2018. godini. Raspored padavina u periodu
april-oktobar ima najveću značaj na bokorenje, porast stabala i ukupan prinos
biomase. U trogodišnjem proseku prihranjivanje azotom značajno je povećalo
prinos suvih stabala, ali je efekat dopunske ishrane biljaka bio najveći u godini sa
najpovoljnijim vodnim režimom. Proučavani tretmani nisu uticali na sadržaj
celuloze u suvim stablima.
AB  - The results of three-year plot trials are part of several years of
research started in 2012 in the field of Surduk. The subject of the research is a
mischantus, a clone imported from Germany for introduction to energy crops
production. The plantation has been formed on chernozem, which belongs to the
category of the most fertile soils. In period 2016-2018 were two variants – control
and variant with nitrogen top dressing. During the annual life cycle, the dynamics
of plant growth are monitored by measuring morphological indicators in phenophases
most important for the formation of dry stalks yields. After harvest during
the winter, the content of water and cellulose in dry stalks were determined and the
calculated yield of stalks. The obtained values of the morphological indicators and
the yield were compared with the years of research in order to determine the effect
of meteorological factors on the annual increase in the miscanthus.
The results show that miscanthus grows well in fertile soil giving a high yield
of dry stalks. The miskantus is tolerant of summer drought because it has a well
developed root system. In the period April-October 2016-2018 there was less
precipitation than the needs of plants, but the month schedule was most favorable
in 2018. In the three-year average, nitrogen storage significantly increased the
yield of dry stalks, but the effect of top dressing was the highest in the year with
the highest rainfall. The studied treatments did not affect the cellulose content in
dry stalks.

Yield components and genetic potential of two-rowed barley

AB  - The aim of this study was to determine the significance of the source of the yield variability and components of the two-rowed barley, as well as the varieties and lines based on the investigated properties and the extraction of superior genotypes that exhibit high and stable yields. The average plant height for all examined genotypes of two-rowed barley ranged from 75.70 cm (2009/10) to 77.87 cm (2008/09), while the average plant height was 76.79 cm. The length of spike of the studied genotypes of two-rowed barley ranged from 8.32 cm (2008/09) to 8.50 cm (2009/10), while the average was 8.41 cm. The number of grains per spike of the studied genotypes of two-rowed barley ranged from 22.50 (2009/10) to 22.69 (2008/09), while the average was 22.59. The grain weight per spike of the barley in the area of Zaječar ranged from 1.066 g (2009/10) to 1.122 g (2008/09), while the average was 1.094 g. Correlations between the length of spike and number of grains per spike and grain weight per spike in the examined genotypes of two-rowed barley at the location Zaječar showed a positive value both in the vegetations 2008/09 and 2009/10 of the study.
