AB  - The storage proteins influence technological quality value of grain wheat, dough quality traits, and loaf quality. The aim of this study is to estimate variability in the dry gluten content, loaf volume, and their relationships with encoding alleles of gliadin and glutenins. Wheat genotypes grown in two vegetation seasons (2015/16 and 2016/17) were studied. The technological quality traits analyzed in this study varied in wheat genotypes within and between vegetation seasons. In both vegetation seasons the highest dry gluten content was established in G-3621-1 (30.23% and 31.15%) and the highest value of loaf volume in G-3621-1 (530 ml and 540 ml). In both vegetation seasons the least dry gluten content was found in G-3606-6 (25.42% and 25.98%) and the least loaf volume in G-3606-6 (380 ml and 390 ml). The composition of gliadin and glutenin alleles in the wheat genotypes analyzed was different. The genotypes carrying Gli-B1b, Gli-D1b, Gli-D2b, and Glu-A1b, Glu-B1c, Glu-D1d had the highest gluten content, while the genotype that carried Gli-B1l and Glu-A1b, Glu-B1c, Glu-D1d had high bread volume. The results have shown relationships between gliadin and glutenin alleles and quality traits of grain, flour, and bread.
AB  - Резервни протеини  ендосперма семена утичу на вредност особина технолошког квалитета семена пшенице, особине квалитета теста и квалитет хлеба. Циљ овог рада је био оцена варијабилности садржаја сувог глутена и запремине хлеба, као и њихове повезаности са кодирајућим алелима глијадина и глутенина. У изучавања је укључено 10 генетички дивергентних генотипова пшенице (G-3626-1, G-3618-2, G-3606-4, G3636-3, G-3627-1, G-3621-1, G-3606-5, G -3607-5, G-3606-6, G-3632-2). Код ових генотипова је анализиран, садржај сувог глутена и запремине хлеба у две вегетационе сезоне (2015/16 и 2016/17). У истраживањима је установљено варирање вредности особина технолошког квалитета код анализираних генотипова пшенице у обе вегетационе сезоне, као и варирање вредности особина између вегетационих сезона код истог генотипа. У обе вегетационе сезоне утврђен је највећи садржај сувог глутена код генотипа G-3621-1 (30,23% и 31,15%) и највећа вредност запремине векне код генотипа G-3621-1 (530 ml и 540 ml). У обе вегетације је најмањи садржај сувог глутена био код генотипа G-3606-6 (25,42% и 25,98%), а најмањa запремина векне у G-3606-6 (380 ml и 390 ml). Састав алела глијадина и глутенина код анализираних генотипова пшенице је био различит. Генотипови код којих су били идентификовани алели: GliB1b, Gli-D1b, Gli-D2b i Glu-A1b, Glu-B1c, Glu-D1d су имали највећи садржај глутена, а генотипови који је носиоци алела Gli -B1l и Glu-A1b, Glu-B1c, Glu-D1d су имали веће вредности запремине хлеба. Добијени резултати су показали да постоји повезаност између алела глијадина и глутенина са испољавањем вредности особина квалитета семена, брашна и хлеба.

Protein Content and Amino Acid Composition in Seed of Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

AB  - The aim of this study was determination of protein content and amino acid composition in seeds of bread wheat, with particular focus of evaluation essential amino acids (EAAs). For analysis used flour samples of grained seed of 10 wheat variety, which selected in different breeding center (in Novi Sad and Kragujevac, Serbia). Kjeldahl method was used for determination of nitrogen (N) contents which value multiplied with coefficient 5.7 for computing protein content (protein contents = 5.7 x % N contents). Amino acids analyses of wheat samples were performed by ion exchange chromatography, followed by the ninhydrin colour reaction and photometric detection at 570 nm and 440 nm (for proline). The results showed that the mean protein content for wheat varied from the lowest value 10.24% in Ljubičevka to the highest 14.21% in Fortuna variety. The mean contents (g 100 g-l protein) of nonessential amino acids (NEAAs) were aspartic acid 5.42%, serine 4.23%, glutamic acid 18.51%, proline 12.18%, glycine 4.17%, alanine 3.64%, tyrosine 2.52%, arginine 5.02%, while mean contents of essential amino acids (EAAs) were threonine 2.86%, valine 4.52%, methionine 1.28%, isoleucine 3.87%, leucine 5.87%, phenylalanine 4.62%, histidine 2.46%, lysine 2.91%. The wheat variety contained relatively high concentration of the most deficient EAAs. The variety Ljubičevka contained relatively high concentration of the most deficient EAAs (threonine, valine, leucine, lysine,). The highest value (29.31 g 100 g-l protein) of total essential amino acids (TEAA), 59.79 g 100 g-l protein of total nonessential amino acids (TNEAA) as well as the highest value (90.35 g 100 g-l protein) of total amino acids (TAA). Obtained results provide variability of wheat variety on the base of amino acid contents and indicate reliable variety for selecting desirable parents in breeding program for improving nutrient quality.
AB  - Cilj ovog istraživanja je bio određivanje sadržaja proteina i sastava aminokiselina u semenu hlebne pšenice, sa posebnim fokusom na procenu esencijalnih aminokiselina (EAA). Za analizu su korišćeni uzorci brašna mlevenog semena 10 sorti pšenice, koje su selekcionisane u različitim oplemenjivačkim centrima (u Novom Sadu i Kragujevcu, Srbija). Za odredjivanje sadržaja proteinakorišćen je Kjeldahlov metod za određivanje sadržaja azota (N) čija je vrednost pomnožena sa koeficijentom 5,7 (sadržaj proteina = 5,7 k % N sadržaj). Za analizu aminokiselina uzoraka pšenice korišćena je jonoizmenjivačka hromatografija, reakcija bojenja ninhidrinom i fotometrijska detekcija na 570 nm i 440 nm (za prolin). Rezultati su pokazali da je srednji sadržaj proteina pšenice varirao od najmanje vrednosti 10,24% kod Ljubičevke do najveće 14,21% kod sorte Fortuna. Srednja vrednost sadržaja (g 100 g-1 proteina) neesencijalnih aminokiselina (NEAA) je nađena za asparaginsku kiselinu 5,42%, serin 4,23%, glutaminsku kiselinu 18,51%, prolin 12,18%, glicin 4,17%, alanin 3,64%, tirozin 2,52%, dok je srednja vrednost sadržaja esencijalnih aminokiselina (EAA) bila za treonin 2,86%, valin 4,52%, metionin 1,28%, izoleucin 3,87%, leucin 5,87%, fenilalanin 4,62%, histidin 2,46% i lizin 1,2%. Sorta pšenice je sadržala relativno visoku koncentraciju najdeficitarnijih EAA. Kod sorte Ljubičevka je nadjena relativno visoka koncentracija najdeficitarnijih EAA (treonin, valin, leucin, lizin,). Najveći sadržaj (29,31 g 100 g-1 proteina), ukupnih esencijalnih amino kiselina (TEAA), i najveći sadržaj (59,79 g 100 g-1 proteina) ukupnih neesencijalnih amino kiselina (TNEAA) kao i najveća vrednost (90,35 g 100 g-1 proteina) ukupnih aminokiselina ( TAA). Dobijeni rezultati predstavljaju varijabilnost sorti pšenice na osnovu sadržaja aminokiselina i ukazuju na pouzdanu sortu za odabir poželjnih roditelja u oplemenjivačkom programu za poboljšanje kvaliteta hranljivih materija.

Assessing the Potential of Old and Modern Serbian Wheat Genotypes: Yield Components and Nutritional Profiles in a Comprehensive Study

AB  - Creating wheat genotypes characterized by high grain yield, high protein content, and favorable amino acid composition is the main goal of breeders, especially in developing countries where wheat is a staple food. An experiment with 20 wheat genotypes, released through breeding activities in the Serbian region at different periods and adapted to its pedoclimatic conditions, was conducted with the aim of determining the genetic potential of the analyzed genotypes for grain yield and quality. Due to the divergence of the examined wheat germplasm, the factor of genotype had the largest share in the variation of all yield parameters (>66%). The genotypes Zadruga and Agrounija exhibited superior abilities for overall grain yield. Also, genotype Zadruga stood out in a distinct cluster group due to high values of both thousand grain weight and grain yield per plant. A continuous improvement in protein content was found, with newer genotypes having 17.13% higher protein content compared with older genotypes. Genotype Sloga stood out with the highest protein content (13.93%). On the other hand, the old genotype Balkan was distinguished by the highest content of nonessential amino acids (61.5 g 100 g−1 protein), which makes it a good genetic resource. Genotypes Agrounija (32.62 g 100 g−1 protein) and Tanjugovka (32.47 g 100 g−1 protein) had the highest content of essential amino acids. The highest AAS value was established for tryptophan (1.81) and the lowest for lysine (0.61). Genotypes Tanjugovka and Zadruga had the highest AAS, i.e., protein completeness. The genotypes Zadruga, Tanjugovka, Agrounija, and Sloga have demonstrated high-yield capacity and possess a favorable amino acid profile, making them promising candidates for enhancing the nutritional quality of wheat and potentially benefiting human health.

On the other hand, the old genotype Balkan was distinguished by the highest content of nonessential amino acids (61.5 g 100 g−1 protein), which makes it a good genetic resource. Genotypes Agrounija (32.62 g 100 g−1 protein) and Tanjugovka (32.47 g 100 g−1 protein) had the highest content of essential amino acids. The highest AAS value was established for tryptophan (1.81) and the lowest for lysine (0.61). Genotypes Tanjugovka and Zadruga had the highest AAS, i.e., protein completeness. The genotypes Zadruga, Tanjugovka, Agrounija, and Sloga have demonstrated high-yield capacity and possess a favorable amino acid profile, making them promising candidates for enhancing the nutritional quality of wheat and potentially benefiting human health.",

gustinama setve. U istraživanja su uključene dve sorte pšenice (Prima i Simonida), u ogledu sa dva roka i tri gustine setve u dve vegetacione
sezone. Rezultati su pokazali značajne razlike u broju klasova m-2, između
sorti, prema gustini setve, po rokovima setve i između dve vegetacione
sezone. U obe vegetacione sezone, najmanji broj klasova m-2 je nađen pri gustini setve 350 semena m-2 kod obe sorte i to 504,50 i 350,33 kod Prime
i 520,50 i 371,83 kod Simonide, dok je najveći broj klasova m-2 utvrđen
pri najvećoj gustini setve (750 semena) i to 558,32 i 372,50 kod sorte Prima i 590,17 u prvoj i 622,17 klasova kod sorte Simonida u drugoj godini. Broj
klasova m-2 je varirao zavisno od genotipa, gustine setve, vremena setve i
uslova u vegetacionoj sezoni.

AB  - Usled ljudskih aktivnosti, zaslanjenost zemljišta postaje glavni izazov za globalnu
proizvodnju hrane. Pšenica je osnovna namirnica za veliki deo svetske populacije, a
stres zaslanjenosti predstavlja značajnu pretnju njenoj produktivnosti. Stoga je stvaranje
tolerantnih genotipova pšenice na salinitet od vitalnog značaja za obezbeđivanje
održive proizvodnje hrane, posebno u područjima pogođenim stresom saliniteta zemljišta.
Proučavanje genotipova pšenice u poljskim uslovima povećane zaslanjenosti je
ključno za efikasnu identifikaciju genotipova tolerantnih na salinitet. U skladu sa tim,
procenjena je tolerantnost 27 genotipova pšenice na salinitet na solonjecu u uslovima
saliniteta i černozemu kao kontroli tokom dve vegetacione sezone. Masa zrna po klasu,
koja je smanjena za 35% u uslovima saliniteta zemljišta, najbolji je fenotipski marker
uticaja zaslanjenosti na biljku. Takođe, povećana zaslanjenost zemljišta je smanjila
vrednosti broja zrna po klasu, mase klasa i prinosa zrna za 30%. Sprovedena je klaster
hitmap analiza, koja je omogućila hijerarhijsko grupisanje genotipova, odnosno osobina.
Masa hiljadu zrna, na koju je dominantan efekat imao faktor godina, svrstana
je u posebnu klaster grupu. U uslovima solonjeca, genotipovi Harmonija, Renesansa,
Orašanka, KG-58, Bankut 1205 i Oplenka su grupisani u okviru iste klaster grupe,
dok su u uslovima černozema usko povezani genotipovi Renesansa i Jugoslavija, ispoljavajući
najveće prosečne vrednosti ispitivanih osobina. Na osnovu AMMI analize,
genotip Harmonija pokazuje visoku stabilnost prinosa zrna na solonjecu i ocenjen je
kao genotip tolerantan na salinitet. Genotip Renesansa je ispoljio visoku stabilnost u
svim agroekološkim sredinama i ostvario najveći prinos zrna na černozemu.
AB  - Soil salinity is becoming a major challenge for global food production due to
human activities. Wheat is a staple food for a large portion of the global population,
and salt stress is a significant threat to its productivity. Therefore, the development
of salt-tolerant and high-yielding wheat genotypes is vital for ensuring sustainable
food production, especially in areas affected by soil salinity stress. Consideration
of wheat genotypes under field salinity conditions is crucial for effectively identifying
salt-tolerant varieties. The salinity tolerance of 27 wheat genotypes was
assessed under field conditions by establishing an experiment on Solonetz, for
salinity conditions, and Chernozem, as the control, during two growing seasons.
The grain weight per spike, which decreased by 35% under soil salinity conditions,
is the best phenotypic marker of the influence of salinity on the plant. Also,
soil salinity reduced the values of the number of grains per spike, spike weight,
and grain yield by 30%. Cluster heatmap analysis was performed, which enabled
hierarchical clustering of genotypes and traits. The thousand grain weight, primarily
influenced by year, is classified into a separate cluster group. On Solonetz, the
genotypes Harmonija, Renesansa, Orašanka, KG-58, Bankut 1205, and Oplenka
were grouped together, and on Chernozem, Renesansa and Jugoslavija were closely
grouped, showing the highest average trait values. Based on the AMMI analysis,
the genotype Harmonija exhibits high grain yield stability on Solonetz and was

AB  - U cilju procene tolerantnosti pšenice na stres saliniteta, sproveden je
dvogodišnji ogled sa 27 genotipova pšenice, gajenih na dva lokaliteta:
Kumane (solonjec, povećana zaslanjenost) i Rimski Šančevi (černozem,
kontrola). Stres zaslanjenosti je uticao na smanjenje prinosa zrna po klasu
za oko 30%, što ovu osobinu čini dobrim fenotipskim markerom uticaja
stresa zaslanjenosti na razvoj pšenice. Selekcija zasnovana na
vrednostima indikatora SP, ITS i IP favorizuje odabir genotipova Bankut
1205, Orašanka, KG-58, Jugoslavija, Renesansa i Harmonija. Iz grupe
genotipova sa visokim vrednostima SP, ITS i IP (klaster A), genotip
Harmonija ima nisku vrednost parametra IOS (0,52) i visoke vrednosti
ISP (0,84), IP (1,66) i prinosa zrna po klasu na solonjecu (1,50 g), što ga
čini veoma tolerantnim genotipom na salinitet. Parametri IOS i ISP
identifikuju genotipove koji se, bez obzira na nizak prinos, odlikuju
malom osetljivošću na stres (Šumadija, Rujna i Premija), zbog čega mogu
biti koristan genetički resurs u oplemenjivačkim programima.

trial was conducted with 27 wheat genotypes, grown on two soil types:
Solonetz (salinity stress) and Chernozem (control). Salinity stress reduced

AB  - Gluten proteins are formed from proteins of flour, gliadin and glutenins which in contact with
water, begin to interact through the formation of chemical bonds. The aim of this study is
identification of encoding genes polymorphisms of gliadin and glutenins in 10 bread wheat
genotypes. For analysis used 30 seeds of 10 wheat genotypes for extraction of gliadins by
70% ethanole, and glutenins by 10% β-mercaptoethanol.The gliadins were separated by acid
page electrophoresis (pH=3.1) on 8.33% polyacrylamide gel, while glutenins were separated
by SDS-PAGE (pH-8.6) on 11.8% gel. Electrophoregrams were used for determining Gli-1
and Gli-2 alleles. The three alleles (a, b, m) at the Gli-A1, four alleles (b, g, l, k) at the Gli-
B1, five alleles (a, b, f, g, k) at the Gli-D1, five alleles (b, e, f, g, k) at the Gli-A2, four alleles
(b, h, j, p) at the Gli-B2 and three alleles (a, b, r) at the Gli-D2 locus were identified. For high
molecular weight glutenin subunists (HMWGS) the three alleles (a, b, c) at the Glu-A1, three
alleles (b, c, d) at the Glu-B1 and two alleles (a, d) at the Glu-D1 were identified. Gluten
proteins varied according to composition alleles encoding gliadin and glutenins in analyzed
wheat genotypes what related with established polymorphisms of each gliadin and glutenin
loci.

AB  - U radu je obavljeno istraživanje varijabilnosti komponenti prinosa
(broj zrna po klasu i masa zrna po klasu) kod sedam genotipova ozime
durum pšenice. Analizirane su tri sorte durum pšenice (Windur, Žitka i
KG Olimpik) i četiri perspektivne linije Centra za strna žita i razvoj sela
Kragujevac (KG-28-6, KG-3405-03, KG-43-33-1 i KG-44-3-1). Ogled je
izveden na sertifikovanom organskom gazdinstvu u Čačku, po principima
organske proizvodnje tokom dve vegetacione sezone (2012/2013. i
2013/2014.). Ustanovljene su statistički visoko značajne razlike za
genotip i interakciju genotip×godina kod obe ispitivane komponente
prinosa. U ukupnoj varijansi za oba svojstva, najveći udeo pripadao je
interakciji, a značajno manji ostalim komponentama varijanse. Ispitivane
komponente prinosa su pokazale izraženu varijabilnost, što je potvrđeno i
koeficijentom varijacije. Najveći broj zrna po klasu, u proseku, imala je
linija KG-3405-03 (46,0), koja je ostvarila i najveću masu zrna po klasu
(1,5 g).
AB  - In this paper, the variability of yield components (number of grains per
spike and weight of grains per spike) was investigated in seven genotypes
of winter durum wheat. Three varieties of durum wheat (Windur, Žitka
and KG Olimpik) and four perspective lines of the Center for Small
Grains and Rural Development Kragujevac (KG-28-6, KG-3405-03, KG-
43-33-1 and KG-44-3-1) were analyzed. The experiment was carried out
on a certified organic farm in Čačak, according to the principles of
organic production during two growing seasons (2012/2013 and
2013/2014). A highly significant statistical differences were found for the
genotype and the genotype×year interaction in both examined yield
components. In the total variance for both properties, the largest share
belonged to the interaction, and a significantly smaller part belonged to
the other variance components. The studied yield components showed
remarkable variability, which was also confirmed by the coefficient of
variation. On average, KG-3405-03 had the highest number of grains per
spike (46.0), which also achieved the highest grain weight per spike (1.5
g).

AB  - The research was carried out in three vegetative seasons 2015/16, 2016/17, and 2018/19, on an experimental plot in Padinska Skela, Belgrade, Serbia. The supplement included four NPK treatments (kg ha−1) and foliar treatment with effective microorganisms (EM 7 l ha−1) T1-129: 60: 60; T2-129: 60: 60 + 1 EM; T3-106: 60: 60 + 2 EM ; T4-83: 60: 60 + 3 EM. Four wheat genotypes were sown (Ratarica, Pobeda, Nogal, and Apache). Thousand grain weight and grain yield were determined. The thousand grain weight (TGW) was in the variety Pobeda 43.73 g, and the highest grain yield was in the variety Ratarica 7.02 tha−1. Both varieties are medium late, bread varieties. The treatments have different effects on the studied variables. The TGW was the highest in the T2 treatment of 40.81 g and the grain yield in T3 of 6.62 t ha−1, which was at the level of statistical significance of p > 0.01. The crude protein content was highest in the treatment of T2 13.93% (p > 0.01).

AB  - Soja je leguminoza sposobna da usvaja elementarni azot iz vazduha zahvaljujući simbiozi sa kvržičnim bakterijama. Inokulacija semena soje visokoefektivnim bakterijama povećava usvajanje azota i pozitivno deluje na ostvareni prinos. Cilj ovoga rada je sagledavanje uticaja primene NS Nitragina na prinos šest sorti soje različitih grupa zrenja. Inokulacija statistički veoma značajno povećava prinos soje, a povećanje se u proseku kretalo od 6,13% kod sorte NS Zoja do 8,49% kod sorte Sava.
AB  - Soybeans are legumes capable of absorbing elemental nitrogen from the air thanks to symbiosis with symbiotic bacteria. Inoculation of soybean seeds with highly effective bacteria increases nitrogen uptake and has a positive effect on the achieved yield. The aim of this paper is to consider the effect of NS Nitragine application on the yield of six soybean cultivars of different maturation groups. Inoculation statistically significantly increased soybean yield, and the increase ranged from 6.13% in the cultivar NS Zoja to 8.49% in the cultivar Sava.

AB  - The aim of this study was to determine the grain protein content of wheat varieties grown under different application rates of effective microorganisms (EM) and nitrogen, and two sowing rates. Three-year research was conducted at the experimental filed of the Scientific Institute PKB Agroekonomik Padinska Skela, using four varieties of wheat (Ratarica, Pobeda, Nogal and Apache), two sowing densities of 400 and 500 seeds/m2 and T1 fertilization (150 kg/ha N); T2 (150 kg/ha N + one foliar treatment, T3 (100 kg/ha N + two foliar treatments), and T4 (50 kg/ha N + three foliar treatments). The preparation EM Aktiv 7 l/ha, a mixture of multiple selected microorganisms, was used for foliar treatment with EM. The average protein content was 13.95% and was statistically significantly dependent on the variety, fertilization, and their interaction p<0.01. The Ratarica and Pobeda varieties had the highest grain protein content. T3 treatment had the greatest impact on grain protein content in all three years of research, by using effective microorganisms, the level of protein in the grain can be maintained when the amount of nitrogen is reduced.

AB  - In order to evaluate the antioxidant activity of wheat in salinity stress conditions, an experiment with 27 wheat genotypes grown on two types of soil was conducted: solonetz (increased salinity) and chernozem (control), during two vegetation seasons (2015/2016 and 2016/2017). Analysis of DPPH radical scavenging activity and phenolic content (PC) were performed in different phenophases of wheat (tillering, stem elongation and heading). Genotypes showed significantly higher DPPH radical scavenging activity (9.82 mg trolox equivalents (TE) per mg of dry matter (d.m.)) and PC (8.15 mg gallic acid equivalents (GAE) per mg d.m.) under salinity stress conditions compared to values obtained on control (8.52 mg TE mg-1 d.m. and 7.13 mg GAE mg-1 d.m., respectively). All analyzed factors (genotype, soil type and year) had the highly significant influence on phenotypic variation of grain yield. Salinity stress reduced grain yield by 30%, whereas drought stress in 2016/2017 vegetation season reduced grain yield by 20%. Highly significant and positive correlations are present between grain yield and parameters of antioxidant activity in all growth stages of wheat and both soil conditions. Therefore, it could be possible to select salinity tolerant genotypes in early growth stages. DPPH scavenging activity and total phenolic content are in highly significant and positive correlation in all growth stages, which indicates that antioxidant activity is highly derived by phenolics.

Danas se najčešće koristi rafinisano belo brašno za dobijanje proizvoda, čija prekomerna upotreba kod ljudi može izazvati gojaznost, alergije, intoleranciju i bolesti intestinalnog trakta. Mogući rizici za zdravlje ljudi, nameću zadatak za poboljšanje kvaliteta, proteina, ugljenih hidrata. Potrebno je u oplemenjivanju stvoriti sorte pšenice sa poželjnom kompozicijom glutena, polisaharida, skroba, koje će se koristiti za proizvodnju hrane  bezbedne za zdravlje i da komercijalna proizvodnja obezbedi da, proizvodi budu, po kvalitetu, ceni i snabdevenosti, dostupni i pristupačni za korisnike.
AB  - Wheat production and demand for improving wheat quality have increased worldwide in order to obtain safe food products and preserve human health. Today, refined white flour is most often used to obtain products, the excessive use of which in humans can cause obesity, allergies, intolerance and diseases of the intestinal tract. Possible risks to human health impose the task of improving the quality of protein and carbohydrates. It is necessary to create wheat varieties with the desired composition of gluten, polysaccharides, starch, which will be used for the production of food safe for health. Also, that commercial production to ensures that products are available ensures that products are available at quality and cost and are affordable to users.

Primena optimalne metode za obračun amortizacije traktora i kombajna

AB  - U radu je prikazan obračun amortizacije novog traktora MTZ 952 i
kombajna John Deere T 550. Primenjene su dve vremenske (linearna i degresivna)
i funkcionalna metoda za obračun amortizacije. Nakon eksploatacionog perioda
korišćenja obračunom godišnje amortizacije osnovnih sredstava farmeri mogu
lakše da planiraju nabavku novih mašina. Takođe, rezultati troškova amortizacije
pomažu farmerima u donošenju racionalnih odluka o nabavci nove mehanizacije ili
eventualnom uslužnom angažovanju mašina drugih farmera. Uzimajući u obzir
troškove amortizacije realno se mogu odrediti i cene pruženih usluga
mehanizacijom, pa će na osnovu toga farmeri birati šta im je isplativije.
AB  - The paper presents depreciation calculation of new MTZ 952 tractor
and John Deere T 550 combine. Two time (linear and degressive) and functional
methods for depreciation calculation were applied. After exploitation period of use,
by calculating the annual depreciation of fixed assets, farmers can more easily plan
the purchase of new machines. Also, the results of depreciation costs help farmers
in making rational decisions on purchase of new machinery, or possible services
engagement machines of other farmers. Taking into account costs of depreciation,
prices of services provided by mechanization can be realistically determined, so
based on that, farmers will choose what is more profitable.

and John Deere T 550 combine. Two time (linear and degressive) and functional
methods for depreciation calculation were applied. After exploitation period of use,
by calculating the annual depreciation of fixed assets, farmers can more easily plan
the purchase of new machines. Also, the results of depreciation costs help farmers
in making rational decisions on purchase of new machinery, or possible services
engagement machines of other farmers. Taking into account costs of depreciation,
prices of services provided by mechanization can be realistically determined, so
based on that, farmers will choose what is more profitable.",

AB  - In the last few decades, new soybean varieties with different characteristics, grain quality and
purpose have been created, contributing to its expansion and increase in the cultivation area.
Thanks to good agronomic characteristics, soybean has found its place in sustainable production
systems. In order to increase the yield and quality of grain in sustainable soybean growing
systems, different foliar treatments with different active substances have been increasingly
applied. The aim of the study was to determine the impact of the application of EM Aktiv with
effective microorganisms on the number of pods per plant, weight of 1000 grains and grain yield
of different soybean cultivars grown in an integrated cultivation system. The research was
conducted in the period 2016-2019 in the experimental field of the Institute of Field and
Vegetable Crops Novi Sad. Varieties from three maturing groups Galina (0 group), Sava (I
group) and Rubin (II group) were grown. Variants of fertilization application were: T1 control,
T2 EM Aktiv was applied to the soil before sowing 20 l.ha-1, and later in vegetation 6 l.ha-1 (the
first foliar treatment in the phase of three to four trefoils and the second before flowering in the
budding phase), T3 NPK 8:15:15 300 kg.ha-1 in basic treatment and T4 combination of T2 and
T3 treatments. On average for all three years of the study were found statistically significant
differences between the variables in all properties. The highest values were determined when
applying T4 treatment. The number of pods was 55.92, the weight of 1000 grains was 163.61 g
and the yield was 4.240 kg.ha-1. The cultivar Rubin (II maturing group) showed the highest
values for all examined variables on average after all treatments.

AB  - The stem height of wheat has impact on grain yield. Variability of height of wheat stem
depends from environment and genetic structure of varieties. The aim of this study was
estimation of impact of genetic components and environmental conditions on variability of
stem height in 10 genetically divergent wheat varieties. The experiment was set up as a
randomised block design in three replications. Obtained results indicated differences in
average values of stem height among tested wheat varieties in each year of experiment. In the
first year of study, the least stem height had Danica variety (44.87 cm) and the highest stem
height had wheat variety Ljubičevka (64.73 cm. In the second year stem height varied
between 64.37 cm in Danica variety and 87.97 cm in Šumadija variety. In average for all
varieties the height of stem was higher in the second year than in the first year of experiment.
Also, in average the value of height of stem was higher in second year than in the first year, in
all analysed wheat varieties. The highest height of stem, expressed Šumadija variety in
average (87.97 cm) in the second year. The least value of stem height (44.87 cm) in average
had Danica variety in the first year of experiment. Based on the results significant differences
between the wheat varieties according to stem height was established and impact of genetic
factors prevailing compare to impact of environmental factors.

AB  - The main goal of plant breeding is to improve quality traits, yield and resistance to abiotic and biotic stress factors. A thousand years ago, people selected the best plants, seeds or fruits to produce seed for new crops and food for human and animal nutrition. Modern plant breeding is based on genetic principles and contributes to  increases in yield  and quality components (contents of protein, amino acids, fat, sucrose, mineral elements etc.). Breeders in conventional breeding programs in the last six decades have made changes to plant phenotypes, significantly improved resistance to diseases, earliness, and frost and drought resistance, and improved scientific farming practices, baking and milling  technologies, and beverage production technology. Through bioinformatics and improved technology, breeders have developed ways to improve and accelerate the breeding process to combine desired traits in new genotypes as well to operate at the level of individual cells and their chromosomes. Nowadays, modern biotechnology is used to improve human nutrition, and develop genotypes with significantly higher yields and quality compared with genotypes created by conventional breeding. By genetic modification it is possible to add, modify or delete a trait without interfering between two complete genomes. However, genetically modified crops can be used after their assessment in terms of human health, food safety and the environment.
AB  - Основни циљ оплемењивања биљака је побољшање особина квалитета, приноса и отпорности на стресне абиотичке и биотичке факторе. Пре хиљаде година људи су бирали најбоље биљке, семе или плод за производњу семена за нове усеве и храну за исхрану људи и животиња. Савремено оплемењивање биљака засновано на генетичким принципима је допринело међусобном повећању приноса и побољшању компонентни квалитета (садржај протеина, аминокиселина, масти, сахарозе, минералних елемената итд.). Оплемењивачи у програмима конвенционалног оплемењивања у последњих шест деценија су остварили промене фенотипова биљака, значајно побољшање отпорности на болести, раностасност, отпорност на мраз и сушу. Такође је остварено побољшање технологије гајења и унапређење примене мера неге и заштите и жетве биљака, побољшање технологије млевења и печења, као и технологије производње пића. Коришћењем биоинформатике и побољшане технологије, оплемењивачи су развили начине за побољшање и убрзавање процеса хибридизације, комбинујући особине које су пожељне да имају новостворени генотипови, као и спровођење инжењеринга на нивоу појединачних ћелија и њихових хромозома. Данас се модерна биотехнологија користи за побољшање исхране људи и за развој генотипова са знатно већим приносом и квалитетом у поређењу са генотиповима створеним у конвенционалном оплемењивању. Генетичком модификацијом могуће је додати, изменити или избрисати (елиминисати) особину без нарушавања два комплетна генома. Међутим, генетички модификовани усеви могу се користити након процене њихове безбедности за здравље људи, оцене безбедности хране и животне средине.

wheat cultivars. The wheat cultivar Dejana expressed the longest spike (12.50cm) in the
second experimental year while the wheat cultivar Sumadinka had the shortest spike (8.91cm)
in the first year. On the base of results were established variability of both analysed spike
traits in wheat cultivars. Also, this results showed significant differences among wheat
cultivars according to length of spike and number of spikelets spike-1, which are determined
by genetic and environmental factors.

second experimental year while the wheat cultivar Sumadinka had the shortest spike (8.91cm)
in the first year. On the base of results were established variability of both analysed spike
traits in wheat cultivars. Also, this results showed significant differences among wheat
cultivars according to length of spike and number of spikelets spike-1, which are determined
by genetic and environmental factors.",

Установљене су значајне разлике између испитиваних генотипова за анализиране особине. Разлике по годинама и интеракција генотип × година су, такође, биле статистички значајне.
AB  - The paper examined the yield, number of spikes per square meter and the weight of 1000 grains in seven genotypes of durum wheat (Olimpik, Windur, Ţitka, KG-28-6, KG -44-3/1, KG -43-33/1 and KG -3405-03). The research was carried out according to the principles of organic production at the certified farm in Ĉaĉak (Serbia) during two vegetation seasons (2012/2013 and 2013/2014). Potato was preceding crop in the first year and beans in the second year of the research. The results were analysed by analysis of variance according to a random block system with two factors in three repetitions. Significant differences were found between the tested genotypes for the analysed properties. The differences between years and interaction genotype × year were also statistically significant.

AB  - Pšenica je glavna hrana u skoro svim delovima sveta. Globalna
potražnja za pšenicom raste za oko 2% na godišnjem nivou, dva puta brže od stope
prirasta genetičkog potencijala za prinos. Na visinu prinosa pšenice pored
agroekoloških uslova značajno utiče ishrana azotom, kao i optimalna gustina setve.
Optimalnom gustinom se značajno utiče na komponente prinosa, kao što je broj
klasova, broj zrna u klasu i masu zrna u klasu. Savremeni trendovi u
poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji diktiraju metode kojima se moraju zadovoljiti
ekonomski, zdravstveni, ekološki principi, zato je za cilj istraživanja postavljeno
da se ispita uticaj interakcijskog odnosa genotipa i gustine setve pri održivom
načinu Ďubrenja na visinu prinosa zrna pšenice (kg/ha). Ogled je izveden na
oglednom polju PKB Instituta Agroekonomik 2017/2018 godine. Osnovno
Ďubrenje bilo je sa 400 kg/ha NPK (15:15:15) na celoj površini ogleda. U fazi
nicanja cela eksperimentalna površina je tretirana sa mikrobiološkim preparatom
EM Aktiv. U kontroli za prihranu se koristilo 150 kg/ha UREA-e tako je N1
129:60:60. U varijanti N2 primenjeno je 100 kg/ha UREA-e, tako da je ukupno
uneto 109:60:60. U toku vegetacije usev je tretiran sa 2 folijarna tretmana sa EM
Aktiv-om. Posejane su tri sorte pšenice Pobeda, Ratarica i Nogal u dve gustine 400
i 500 zrna na 5 m2. UtvrĎene su razlike u visini prinosa su značajno uticala na
visinu prinosa. Kod svih genotipova u gustini od 500 zrna/m2 ostvaren je viši
prinosa zrna. Na kraju vegetacije uvrĎen je sadržaj lakopristupačnih fosfora i
kalijuma u zemljištu. U varijanti N2 utvrĎene su veće količine oba elementa.
AB  - Wheat is the main food in almost all parts of the world. Global
demand for wheat grows by about 2% annually, twice as fast as the rate of increase
in genetic potential for yield. In addition to agroecological conditions, the yield of
wheat is significantly influenced by nitrogen nutrition, as well as the optimal
sowing density. The optimum density significantly influences the yield
components, such as the number of scales, the number of grains in the class and
the weight of the grain in the class. Modern trends in agricultural production
dictate methods that need to satisfy economic, health, environmental principles.
Therefore, the aim of the research was to investigate the influence of the
interaction relation between genotype and sow density in sustainable fertilization
method on the wheat grain yield (kg/ha). The visit was made in the field of PKB
Institute Agroekonomik 2017/2018 year. The basic fertilization was 400 kg/ha
NPK (15:15:15) on the entire surface of the experiment. During the emergence
phase, the whole experimental surface was treated with the microbiological
preparation EM Aktiv. In the feed control, 150 kg/ha of urea was used, so N1
129:60:60. In the N2 variant, 100 kg/ha urea was applied, so a total of 109:60:60
was entered. In the course of vegetation, crop was treated with 2 foliar treatment
with EM Aktiv. Three varieties of wheat Pobeda, Ratarica and Nogal were found
in two densities of 400 and 500 grains per 5 m2. The differences in yield yields
were significantly affected by the yield. For all genotypes in the density of 500
grains/m2, higher grain yields were achieved. At the end of the vegetation, the
content of light-chain phosphorus and potassium in the soil is classified. In the N2
variant, larger quantities of both elements were determined.

AB  - The aim of this study was to investigate phenotypic variability of yield
components for different spelt wheat genotypes (Triticum spelta L.). Six
genotypes of winter spelt wheat (Nirvana, KG-37-8/3, KG -54-7/3, KG -54-8/1,
KG -54-4/2, and KG-54-2/3) were grown during two growing seasons
(2011/2012 and 2012/2013) at certified organic trial parcel in the Municipality of
Čačak, Serbia. Through variance analysis, highly significant differences in mean
values for both investigated yield components (number of grains per spike and
grain weight per spike) were established. Higher values of coefficient of
variability for grain weight per spike (CV = 12.8%) than grain number per spike
(CV = 10.2%) were determined. The highest average value for number of grains
per spike had genotype KG-54-7/3 (46.22). Genotype KG-54-2/3 (1.94 g) had
significantly higher mass of hulled grains per spike compared to other
investigated genotypes. Phenotypic analysis of variance indicated that ecological
factors had higher impact on the expression of grain weight per spike, but genetic
factors had higher impact on the expression of number of grains per spike

abstract = "The aim of this study was to investigate phenotypic variability of yield
components for different spelt wheat genotypes (Triticum spelta L.). Six
genotypes of winter spelt wheat (Nirvana, KG-37-8/3, KG -54-7/3, KG -54-8/1,
KG -54-4/2, and KG-54-2/3) were grown during two growing seasons
(2011/2012 and 2012/2013) at certified organic trial parcel in the Municipality of
Čačak, Serbia. Through variance analysis, highly significant differences in mean
values for both investigated yield components (number of grains per spike and
grain weight per spike) were established. Higher values of coefficient of
variability for grain weight per spike (CV = 12.8%) than grain number per spike
(CV = 10.2%) were determined. The highest average value for number of grains
per spike had genotype KG-54-7/3 (46.22). Genotype KG-54-2/3 (1.94 g) had
significantly higher mass of hulled grains per spike compared to other
investigated genotypes. Phenotypic analysis of variance indicated that ecological
factors had higher impact on the expression of grain weight per spike, but genetic
factors had higher impact on the expression of number of grains per spike",

Variability, AMMI and cluster analysis for quality components of different wheat genotypes

AB  - The present study was carried out to investigate the variability and heritability of
wheat quality components and to evaluate the stability of ten wheat genotypes in
different environmental conditions. The experiment was conducted in the Center
for Small Grains in Kragujevac, Serbia during two growing seasons (2010 and
2011). Thousand grain weight had the highest value of GCV and PCV (7.13 and
7.7%), while test weight had the lowest PCV (3.24%) and protein content had the
lowest GCV (1.82%). The highest heritability was observed for thousand grain
weight (H2
=85.37%), while the lowest one was found for protein content
(H2
=19.56%). The AMMI analysis showed significant effect of the G×E
interaction, where first main component was significant for all components.
Genotypes KG-56, Arsenal and Osječanka are close to the average values for all
components and expressed the highest stability. Genotypes with the highest or
lowest average values for analyzed traits, such as Norin 10, Mironovskaya 808,
Gruža and Spartanka, showed moderate to high instability. Cluster analysis
categorized the genotypes into four groups. The genotype Norin 10 showed the
highest distance from other genotypes, whereas the stable genotypes grouped together.

AB  - In order to evaluate the variability and relationship between different wheat yield components, a randomized complete block design experiment with ten genotypes of wheat had been carried out during three growing seasons (2010-2012). The number of spikelet per spike and grain weight per spike had low genotypic and phenotypic variability, while plant height had the highest one. High heritability was observed for plant height (h2=93.1%), spike length (h2=92.3%) and spike density (h2=92.9%). The low heritability was found for grain weight per spike (h2=35.6%). Grain weight per spike was in significant positive genotypic and phenotypic correlation with all the traits (plant height, spike height, number of spikelet per spike, number of grain per spike and spike weight) except spike density. The spike weight had the highest phenotypic (rp=0.988), while number of spikelet per spike had the highest genotypic correlation with grain weight per spike (rg=0.981). Path coefficient analysis revealed that all the traits had highly significant direct effect on grain weight per spike, except spike length. The stepwise regression revealed that 87.1% of the grain weight per spike variation was explained by model which excludes spike length. Spike weight and plant height had the highest shared and unique contribution to grain weight per spike.
